I'm sorry you wasted your money, so did I. Get some laxatives, its the same things. She is a scam, and it makes me mad. She pretends like she cares about people losing weight, then she comes out with all these crappy pills.
Atkins works without harmful, unhealhty laxatives. Please, don't forget your health in your quest to lose weight. Take the pills back where you got them and get your money back.

I love jillian, but her pills are BS!

if you ever research her pills, there are alot of fillers that add up to a BUNCH of carbs..

Of course since I love her I looked into them and was very dissapointed

I am skeptical of any spinoff from the Biggest Loser. I have read what the contestants do to lose weight and she does nothing to promote health by allowing that to happen.

I totally agree. I'm still shocked she put her name on such crap products.

She puts out *excellent* workout videos---why the heck would she discredit herself with these pills?

Her videos are AWESOME!!!

But when I started seeing her pills, detox items, etc. at Walmart it blew me away!

I guess I cant blame her, she has a very recognizable name and must make $$$$ for her diet products. Id like to say I wouldn't do it if I were her, but when major $$$$ is being offered it would be VERY tempting.

I don't remember specifically, could look online, but I remember reading the label and I thought there were too many carbs and not enough protein. I can get more bang for my buck and health if I stick to either a brand name of protein powder like Designer Whey or store brand like whatever WalMart sells. And, it costs less too.

If you want a good cleanse without all the fillers and crap try the Rainforest Brand Premium Acai Super Cleanse. I buy it at Whole Foods and it does a gentle but persistant job.

I don't like Jillian or anything about her. She looks like the devil and is simply "mean". I'm surprised she has not killed someone by now with what she puts them thru.

Jillian Michaels sued over diet supplement - Yahoo! News

Quote:
Wed Feb 10, 1:51 pm ET
LOS ANGELES – Jillian Michaels has been sued for alleged false advertising by a woman who claims she was duped into buying a diet supplement endorsed by the celebrity trainer.

Christie Christensen of Lake Elsinore, Calif., is seeking class-action status for the case she filed Tuesday in Los Angeles. Michaels is a hard-charging, no-nonsense trainer best-known as one of the stars of NBC's hit reality show, "The Biggest Loser."

Christensen's lawsuit claims she bought a product called "Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control" last month and that it has failed to lessen her appetite or cause her to lose weight as advertised.

Michaels' picture and endorsement appear on the packaging, touting her as "America's Toughest Trainer." The product and a Web site advertising include the claim, "Two Capsules Before Main Meals and You Lose Weight ... That's It!"

"Ms. Michaels knows better — taking two pills before eating does not miraculously cause weight loss," the lawsuit states.

The Web site and packaging however note that the statements haven't been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Christensen is also suing Utah-based Basic Research, which manufactures and markets several diet and weight loss products endorsed by Michaels.

Michaels' publicist, Heidi Krupp, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment Wednesday. A representative of Basic Research said the company may issue a statement later Wednesday.

"Calorie Control" is not among the products that NBC lists for sale on its "Biggest Loser" Web site, which include video games, DVDs and equipment, some bearing Michaels' image.

"The Biggest Loser" has been a hit for NBC, often appearing in Nielsen Co.'s Top 20 rankings for prime-time TV programs.

Christensen's suit seeks unspecified damages that are not expected to total more than $5 million. Her filing states she has "struggled with weight loss her entire life" and bought "Calorie Control" because of Michaels' endorsement.

Love Jillian. She was overweight herself years ago and training people/getting them in-shape and to lose weight, is HER JOB.

Of course she is going to try and make $$ by slapping her name on things. Too bad she doesn't pick the right things. No biggie to me, since I do not use any of these type of things that she sells.

She definitely means well and that comes across 100% on, 'The Biggest Loser'.

I am a HUGE fan of Jillian's workout videos, so I was so disappointed to see her hawking some stupid diet pills! Especially because she always placed such an emphasis on exercise, working hard, and eating clean - basically the antithesis of any "quick fix" pills.

I have no problem with her selling her workout videos, exercise gear, or books, but the pills really go against everything she supposedly stood for, and it's a shame.

The best "detox" is stop consuming sugar, drink lots of water and exercise. There that didn't cost you anything did it?

While I don't agree with her putting her face on the bottles, it is not like they are her formulas. A company has paid her for the rights to put her likeness on their products. Does that excuse her endorsing this crap? No. But I just want to make sure you all realize she is not in a lab somewhere trying to invent this stuff.

I know she's not actually mixing the chemicals herself - that doesn't really matter. In fact, if she WERE the one coming up with these formulas, I would at least trust that she knew exactly what she was endorsing. She sold out her "work hard, eat clean" ethic to make money, and LOTS of people adore Jillian and will try anything she puts her face on. So now all these fans are trying pills with questionable ingredients simply because she said to, and they're no better for it. (If the news articles are to be believed, they're much worse off, in fact.)

She also has the knowledge to help people lose weight. Pure and simple.

Nobody forces any grown adult to consume any type of pill, diet or otherwise.

Yeah but it's a cynical business move detracting from the original message. She's become yet another charlatan peddling snake oil.

Agree. Any person that is famous enough will agree to put their name on things and market products. Just look at Dr Atkins towards the end and how he started encouraging his bars and shakes.

that's why you can't fall for the hype around someone. Just because so and so says it's good doesn't mean it is. It's the consumer's job to do the research.

She's not a sell out, she's a business person, and they do what will sell. Just look at the Eades' new book the 6 week plan for the middle age middle- where the diet is based on protein shakes (and what a coincidence they sell them) and goes against their earlier books(whole foods, sustainable).

But I can call her out on her unethical product that has nothing to do with losing weight. What because someone is running a business we should all be silent and approving?
