One year on Atkins...130 pounds GONE!!!

Just wanted to check in on my one year Atkinsversary! I'm officially down 130 pounds!!! I'm so thrilled, I can't even begin to tell you how much better my life is now than it was a year ago.

My knees and ankles don't bother me anymore
I sleep so much better
My complexion has cleared up
I've gone from a tight size 28 to a comfortable 16
I can shop at many other stores besides Lane Bryant now
I actually look forward to exercising (weird!)
I completed one half-marathon, and will be doing my 2nd one next month
I have confidence and self-esteem again
I actually look forward to social situations, instead of dreading them
I can fit in any chair or booth I want to sit in...no more restaurant/movie theater anxiety!
I look forward to what the future holds now

Atkins has changed my life in so many ways. Thank you all for giving me the support, encouragement, recipes, and amazing tips that I find on this board every day. LCF is a wonderful, wonderful place!

(I know I need to post some before/after pics...I promise I'll get on it soon!)

Jacki...that's so funny...I think the same thing when I'm trying to lug a 45 pound bag of dog food into my shopping cart...I've lost THREE of those (almost), and I can barely lift ONE! It's staggering to think of all that extra weight I was burdened with every day. No wonder my knees and ankles don't hurt anymore.
