Nicotine Lozenges after each meal???

I think the lozenges (I use CVS brand cherry 2mg) contain only sugar alcohol. I t is impossible to find any info on the ingredients! err! They arent even listed on the packaging! Anyway, I am wondering if I am messing up my entire meal if I take one after each meal! Any opinions on this?

If they keep you from smoking I truly believe that is most important ( You might want to get a Vapcig e cigarette they really help with the hand to mouth situation) , my one physciatrist alwasy said get one thing under control at a time don't overload or your might fail at both
BUT the one great thing abut LCarbing are the snacks you can eat and not gain

Try contacting the company that makes them for the nutritional info.

bump! Would love to know this. I am hoping they are 0 carbs as I use a few (okay maybe more than a few a day).

From the CVS website:

Active Ingredient (in each Lozenge): Nicotine Polacrilex, 2 mg (Nicotine). Inactive Ingredients: Acesulfame Potassium, Flavor, Magnesium Stearate, Mannitol, Potassium Bicarbonate, Sodium Alginate, Sodium Carbonate, Sucralose, Xanthan Gum.

I don't know how many carbs are in these, but I agree that given the alternative - this sounds better!! Considering the various artificial sweeteners and the fact that mannitol is in the middle of the list, I don't think the carb count would be terribly high.

The ingredient list looks the mannitol is the only sugar alcohol. It is far down on the list of ingredients so there isn't much of it. All the other sweeteners are calorie free.

Some people will react to the AS by getting hungry, so monitor your hunger levels and if you see them going up after you take your lozenge, you'll know why and you can make the decision NOT to feed that particular hunger.
