Just know that when you add in extra fat for the sake of adding it it also adds lots of calories so you might need to adjust your portions of other things. Especially since you are so close to your goal!

Fat usually comes from the meat/nuts/butter/oil you add to the regimen. To calculate how much you may need to consume go here:

I was hungry a lot and gaining and losing the same couple of pounds for weeks. I added more butter to foods, used more dukes mayo in my deviled eggs and eat chicken with the skin. I kept my portions of protein about the same just added the extra fat. Also I stopped measuring the cream for my coffee and just pour it in until it looks the way I want it to. Since starting this last Sunday I am down 2.6 pounds. Just what is working for me YMMV.

Awesome - do you think it raised your calories a lot?

I would guess at least a couple of hundred. I am not counting cals anymore as I think it was keeping me in the diet mentality mindset. I was hungry a lot of the time and wouldn't eat if I was at my daily limit which will lead to binging for me sooner or later. My guess is that I was probably keeping cals too low as well as fat.

For most people, it's not a matter of adding fat so much as picking higher fat foods. Eat chicken thighs rather than breasts, for example.

Apparently your apetite is controlled by the presence of fat in your system. Something down low senses it and tells your brain all is well. Thats prolly why your seeing people say add more fats. You want a nice fatty cut of deliciousness get your hands on a pork shoulder. 10 lbs of half fat half protein. I can't wait to lather a piece up with some horse radish. Mmm
