Curious any one else around 5'2"-5'3"

What weight were you when you got to size 6? I think size 6 might be a reasonable size for me.

Gosh, it all depends on your body type really. I'm just an inch taller at 5'4 and I was 147lbs wearing a size 6. Mind you, 147 is considered 'overweight' for my height (according to random BMI calculators LOL). I'm also a pear, carrying more weight below the waist. The jeans weren't tight, it was a comfortable fit. So, just kinda goes to show you how much it can really vary.

When I was a 6 (many years ago) I think I was about 115 or so. I have a medium build and my weight is evenly distributed, maybe a bit heavy on the thighs, but I have a flat butt

I am 5'4 and 151 pounds and a size 8. When I got to my low (141) all my eights were lose, but I didn't buy any size 6 clothes because I couldn't maintain the 141 very long. I stayed at 145 for almost a year and were a very comfortable size 8 (they were a little lose). I think you are very smart to look for a size goal instead of a weight goal. I have a very hourglass figure, small waist with bigger hips and butt. Jeans usually fit my hips but are huge in the waist and I always have to wear a belt.

I work out and weight train too ... we are probably shaped differently! Which just goes to show it's just going to be very individual .. and very hard to predict!!!!

Yep, and this is an excellent thread that shows that......thanks to the OP for starting it.

We are all different...shaped different...carry it different...it will look different on all of us.

Can you imagine if they stood us all side by side...most of us wearing the same size.........we are all different.

Oh, and I have a lot of lose skin...gross yes. I cannot afford a tummy tuck. I wish......I just wear clothes that hide it well.

I was 108 lbs when I wore a size 6 (for about 2 weeks until I put on a few pounds again), BUT that was back in the 1970s and the size 6 then was what would be a 0 now--the smallest adult size.

I agree it totally depends on your build and how the weight is distributed. When I weighted 108 I was still wearing size 10-12 shirts thanks to my bust size which did not change with weight loss.

I agree that it depends on your frame.

I'm a very small boned 5'3 petite ... I started at a size 12 back in 2002 and now I'm a size 1. I also run ALOT and do weight training.

Yes, I too wore a 10 at about 112 but that was early 80's for me. I am 5'3.5" and 9 or 10 yrs ago, I was shocked to learn that could wear a size 4 at 122lbs but it depended on what brand. I wore a 6 at 130.

I'm just barely over 5 feet and when I was around 140, I wore a 6. When I was in my 20's and 30's and averaged between 125-135 I wore a 5. That was back in the 70's and 80's.

I agree it really varies.

I am 5'2. When I was 150, I wore a six only because of my massive thighs, but my waist was a sz four. I was really in to body building then....

I am 5'3 and I do not think I was ever a 6. Not even when I was 130 lbs and fit. I think I might be a size 10 at 140 ish when I am done. I am a pear shape and athletic build. I think it depends on body type.

I'm 5'4" and I wear a 9 for like a 30 pound span. I wear an 11 at 140-165.

Those are an 11. and I was 142 (and REALLY hungover, ha!)

I have a really wide, thick waist. Luckily, my jugs and hips balance it out, ha.

I'm 5'1", and in 2005, I got down to 145 and I still wore a size 14 jeans! I have no idea just how much weight I'd have to lose to make it to a size 6!!

Needless to say, I carry a lot of my weight in my legs, lol. Pear shaped, indeed!
