does anyone have just veggie or meat days?
maybe i am strange, but some days ALL i want to eat is veggies. i crave them. i feel like i could eat loaded broccoli for lunch and salad for dinner and be done with it. i have these days every now and then and yet some days i have days where ALL i want to eat is meat

I have had all meat days..usually on weekends when I am running around but seldomly. I find that all meat can cause me not to go to the bathroom as completely. I love my salads so although I may not eat veggies every day I definitely eat a salad a day.

more often i have days where i don't eat anything.. never mind days where i only want one thing.
having no appetite is so strange. sometimes i will only eat one salad a day, and that will keep be satisfied. other days i can eat 3 steaks and still want more! heh. |

I "could" just eat either but I prefer to combine them together to balance the nutritional benefits. Certainly on my huge Casino meals, the preference is for meats/oysters, etc. Though I do throw in a few veggies.....

I definitely have all meat days and I definitely have days where I crave veggies but I've never had a day I didn't eat meat/protein. Recently I was really craving veggies and was eating a TON of them (50-80 carbs a day worth) and I ended up gaining. Yeah, whoever said you can't get fat eating veggies is a big fat liar!
I deliberately have meat-free days but I eat seitan and a boatload of eggs on those days so it's definitely not veggies only. I don't feel good if I don't get a good bit of protein in each day. |

It happens to me too. Some days i feel like just having veggies, like big salads without any meat. I add eggs and lots of different veggies in it, lunch and dinner. And sometimes i am just craving meat and no veggies at all....

Reminds me of the episode of king of the hill where the cultists deprive the members of meat to cloud their minds. I just don't like veggies enough to push my steak out of the way to make room for it.
