Bringing it back! Weight loss thread for week of 1/4/10-1/10/10

We used to have these threads every week, for some reason people stopped posting them, so I'm bringing it back! Post your weight from yesterday (yes I realize I'm a day late), and then we weigh in Sunday/monday morning. So what's your goal for the week?

Yesterday I was at 292.8, and I would like to see 288, for a loss of 4.8lbs this week. (PS I'm already at 289)

Start Date: Started LC in March '08
I'm in!

Yesterday I was at 227.....and I'd be happy with 223 by next Monday morning. (And, like you, I was ridding myself of holiday bloat and was down to 224 this morning). I'm on a 5 day Induction to get myself back on track. Today is Day 2.

I'm right there with ya. I'm on day 3, started Sunday. I didn't go off plan during the holidays, just overly enjoyed my lc treats!

My weight yesterday was 258.something.... it wasn't weight day, so I really didn't pay attention.

I normally weigh-in on Wednesdays and only kinda look at the scale on off days.

Ms_Woods..Is 4 pounds an average loss for you? If so that's awesome!

I like to see 3 pounds a week. I'm happy with 2, lucky if I get 1. Sadly, this week, I think it's going to be 1.

My goal for this week is to do 5 days on my bike of 5 miles each day. I've done 4 days and one day I didn't do 5 miles. I only made it to 3.5.

No, 4lbs is a lot, but i was retaining water. In the beginning that was normal but it slowed down. about 2lbs a week is generally what I see.

Yesterday was at 192. Which is actually not too bad considering I went off plan for 2 full weeks. I would like to see 188 by next Monday and it may just happen considering I am 190 this morning.

177.4 this morning....officially 6 months today at 32.2 lbs down.....i'll be ecstatic if i hit 170 by feb 5th....happy if i hit 175.0 by next monday....trying REAL hard!!! can't exercise right now cause i have some issues but i'm thinking workout thoughts...hugs!!!

I am reinducting too!

I started on 1/4.

I maintained for a long time knowing that I needed to finish what I started but I didn't want to change my WOE from higher carb level that I maintained with.

The holidays are over, the family move is complete, from Georgia to New York, and we are settled in our home and in the community.

On Mon. my weight was 222.8 - today, Wed., it's 220.8- my goal for this week is to drop another 3 lbs. at least, since I am RI

In the past, I generally lost 1 pound a day for the first week of In.

I'm diabetic and hypo so my weight loss will slow way down in a few days after the water weight is gone.

Me too! I passed goal and zoomed to 285.8 this morning. Hopefully it will stick!

It's great to see this type of thread for OWL candidates. Accountability is a good way to monitor and the weekly interval seems like a good compromise. For years, I didn't care what I weighed but having recently upgraded the junky spring inaccurate scale with a digital "consistent reading" model and committing to the maintenance "Friday weigh in" thread, I'm now a weight weenie of sorts.

You guys go and have at it, best to you all in your quests!!!

Well I am back to the 160's, I lost the 4.5 pounds that I put on over Christmas/New Years, I weighed in at 169.8 . I would like to lose at least 2 to 3 pounds this week so my goal will be 167.
