Low Carb= Low Depression?

I have only been on LC for 2 weeks...I feel great! Lighter....less stressed! Is there any connection between LC and less anxiety and mild depression? I am not saying it a cure of course...i know it is a serious disease. My Stepdad truly believes the LC life helps his arthritis.

WOE: Atkins '72/ Healthy eating for life

There is a connection for me. When I eat high-carb I suffer from anxiety, depression and a general lack of caring. Low-carb has been a life saver in a lot of areas.

I know there is a link between depression and wheat-according to my Mom, who did some online research when she was feeling depressed with an unknown cause. I feel so much better on low carb not only physically but mentally it's whats kept me going for so long.

I have been able to reduce my antidepressant meds since eating lc. I feel great, I believe it helps a whole lot.

For me there is a connection. I am feeling very well now living a low carb lifestyle. Although it's hard admit to depression, I have lived it. I am grateful I don't have to suffer any longer.
