Yeah, what yvonne said. Too gamey. UNLESS we are talking about gyro meat-- filling with all kinds of preservatives I'm sure. But delicious slathered in cucumber sauce!

I cannot stand either the smell or taste of lamb. I can't even stay in the same place where it's cooking because I can't abide the smell.

I love it and will eat most any muscle cut of it.

DH can't stand to smell it cooking and generally will only eat it at the Greek restaurant, HOWEVER, he will eat the tenderloins if they've been marinated a few hours in lots of good stuff, AND he recently discovered that if HE grills the lamb chops they're delicious!

To me there is nothing much better than a juicy, rare, crusty on the outside, rack of lamb! YUM.

For me, I grew up with lamb and always enjoyed it when Mom would cook it.

I'm trying to eat more fat and protein for my workouts and lamb fits the bill today!

I love Lamb too... err... wait. That doesn't sound right. I don't mean I'm a sheep #$@'er... lol.

I didn't like the taste as a kid, but now I really like it a lot. Just seems when I order rack of Lamb at a restaurant here it's like two tiny pieces... when you order rack of Lamb in Australia... you get a rack of Lamb! MMMM...

lamb/sheep are grazers so the omega profile is similar to pastured beef/game.

I love lamb! My grocery store sells ground lamb (like hamburger) and I make lamb burgers out of it.

Yummy!

My favorite is rack of lamb, but unfortunately, it is very expensive.

I know a lot of folks say they don't like lamb because it's "gamey" but what DH discovered is that if he trims off all the visible fat, he doesn't get that smell when it's cooking or the taste when he's eating it.

Also one of our local grassfed breeders now raises a breed of lamb that has hair and not wool - so no lanolin, which is what SHE says makes it taste gamey. I haven't tried it yet and of course right now I can't remember the name of the breed at this moment but maybe a Google search and try it if you can find it!

I adore lamb. It's quite pricey though so it's an occasional treat.

I love lamb :-) We eat the chops at home about once or twice a month. Rack of lamb is an occasional treat.

Over the summer, we picked up a boned leg of lamb. I pounded it to tenderize and even out, marinated it in lemon, rosemary, garlic, and olive oil, and grilled to medium, then sliced thin like london broil. REALLY wonderful.
