Hahaha! Okay, I'll go with the smell. I've been running back and forth from the kitchen for the last couple of hours. I started reading Lalala's posts.....I SWEAR to God, from the beginning.....I'm surprised she's not feeling like someone's staring at her...I LOVE HER!!! She writes like I do - just whatever comes to mind - but I was getting hungry so I had to go make breakfast......an omelette, not becuase she makes terrific ones, but because I know it works for me....but I only had bell pepper, red onion and some mozzerella and cheddar cheese, but hey, it works for me. Now, if I could get OFF of her posts, I think I'm up to page 8, I could finish making my salad for later. I had so much crap in my fridge, and the bowl of eggs are one of them, that I decided to just get all the plastic bags out, toss them in the sink and chop up whatever hasn't turned into slime (i.e. radish leaves, they're the first to go) and stick it in a plastic bag and eat from there. So far I have cabbage, bell pepper, red onion, radishes, celery, zucchini, romaine lettuce and carrots. I think that will make a nice crunchy bowl of something for later. And I have to remember to take steak out otherwise I'll croak from lack of anything substantial. .....so I'm off to check the eggs! Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it!

I am! Boy, that egg shell is really a protective covering. They were perfect. So now I know.....keep eggs, hardboiled, in the fridge ALWAYS!!

I just ate a bowl of mashed cauliflower leftover from last night. It has a bit of mozzerella cheese, about an inch of cream cheese (from the rectangle package) and about a tablespoon of butter, smashed and seasoned like mashed potatoes. It was yum. And in a while when I'm cruising the kitchen, looking for SOMETHING, ANYthing, I'll get that big bag of salad that I chopped and eat some of that.

Do you know what's INSANE? I'm not a big chip lover or anything, but in my cupboards, seriously - there is a bag of Ruffles, Lays regular potato chips, pretzel sticks, two kinds of tortilla chips and my pork rinds. We NEVER have that much crap. But of course, this week we do.

Are you kidding me Lalala? ToTALLY interesting. You make this whole journey fun.

So.....back to my food........did pretty good today and then I didn't want to cook dinner so my husband and I went through In-n-Out and I got the protein burger, while my daughter and husband ate the full meals. That was the first protein burger I'd ever had but it was really good. Then I totally just wanted to eat so I had a big bowl of the salad I chopped earlier and .......and it was good. Now I'm stuffed and maybe can sleep.

I read what you were saying in some of your posts about doing the same thing as I do, sort of toss and turn and sleep for a few hours or an hour at a time. I read somewhere that if you take calcium it helps, so I'm going to try that.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way! Many times when I post in a thread, it's like I never said a word. I thought it was because I was "just a newbie" and was still yet unknown.

I feel much better now...

Thanks so much Lucy That's very nice of you. And I've responded to you in my journal

CherylB...I know the feeling. Sometimes I consider myself the 'thread killer' cause I feel like the moment I respond to a lively and popular thread, conversations seem to end and the thread dies!!

CherylB, I was on here maybe five years ago and felt like I was totally invisible....and that's not why I put my weight back on, but it IS nice to be acknowledged and sort of gathered up in the group, isn't it? I ended up not coming back in here, but now I want to do this again, and I need to have people to cheer with and commiserate with. Maybe we can be buddies.

Lucy

B - Coffee with 2% milk and Splenda
L - slices of London Broil, about 8 thin slices, celery (3), couple of TBLSP of cream cheese.
Dinner - I just don't know....but probably broccoli, steak, salad.
