I feel better not eating veggies, I am a major over eater of veggies and cannot control myself yet.
the folk who tell you you can't do that eating low carb are confusing dietary carbohydrates with the human body carbohydrate fuel system which can use both dietary glucose and body made glucose. The body made glucose is made from proteins, fats and spent glucose molecules so there is no need for dietary carbs to fuel your workouts.

Okay, but Fawn: what is she supposed to do about her actual protein requirements and limitatons? Stay within those parameters while increasing her fat percentage to roughly twice her protein percentage? Is that pretty much it? (60/28 seems to be how it works out for me.) I want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly and she's not being advised to eat more meat, just different meat along with additional fat.

Right; ask Betty about this--she runs 10 miles regularly and eats low-carb.

protein is not the body's first choice for fuel, so she should fuel it with a better choice, fat. lower the protein and increase the fat. eat fattier cuts of meat, cook with fat, eat fatty fruits and nuts, there are so many ways to get fat if one drops the low fat mentality that comes automatically buy buying skinless chicken breast and low fat fish, and lean cuts of beef and pork.

She's hungry cause protein is not fuel primarilly it is building material. Meat comes with fat and you NEED fat to process protein into fuel and she doesn't have enough fat to do that, and with low carb as well, so she is starving, literally.
