I love my WII i am getting WII fit but i play WII sports for now.I hate cardio but i love a challenge. Just be careful and don't get carried away like me and pull your shoulder and bicep! WII is just a great console all together.I have an Xbox 360 too and the WII gets the most use. It may be a good idea to try it at a friends house or maybe gamestop.I have never met anyone who didn't like it.

I am NOT a video games player. I am NOT an exerciser.

I AM addicted to my Wii!

I have Wii Fit, Wii Sports, Wii Outdoor Challenge, Wii Play, and a few others - they will all get you up and moving.

We also have Cars and a couple other "just for fun" games that we like to play on it sometimes. It's really a lot of fun! For ME to part with my $$ for a video game is pretty much unheard of! LOL!

I really enjoy me Wii Fit, but I found that it was not challenging enough to help me lose weight. It's pretty good for toning. It also uses a lot of batteries.

Now it just sits there while I work out with my dance cardio workout cd, which I do with weights in my hands the whole time to combine weight resistance and cardio. It cost much less, too. And takes less time.

That is what I found. Unless they have some new games that are more of a workout. I found it boring after you opened up all the levels. We sold ours and got a Basset Hound.

Personally, I love the wii! I have wii fit and I use it everyday. I usually use the jogging and boxing and occasionally some strength training. Its good if you really don't want to go anywhere that day too, you can do everything right in the comfort of your living room. I'm going to get the wii fit plus for Christmas so I'm hoping it will have some extra things to try as it can get a little boring doing the same thing every day.

I love Wii for games, but would never buy any fitness programs for it. I like to walk and bike.

Nevermind all the Wii fitness board and fitness games which are awesome and great.. Umm hello? Rock Band, Guitar Hero etc!!! lol My husband is a huge huge gamer and likes his Xbox360 better but there is a reason our Wii is on the main level on the main tv and it's because it's awesome fun to entertain with as well as exercise with. It's cute and fun and there are many many exercise related and dance, music related games coming out in the next 2-3 months that will definitely get you moving and having fun.

I'm not sure why I'm having so much trouble deciding on this ... all of my friends are telling me I should get it - and everyone on here seems pretty possitive about it too ... I would love to try all the fitness games before buying one ... I'm having a REALLY hard time motivating myself to go out to the gym and the cold weather is an issue for me (rheumatologist encouraged me to find indoor activities during winter ... he wants me to remain active during winter...)

BOOO!!! I donèt know whether I should or not ... Do you think theyèll come down further in price

I'm considering the Wii too. I've never purchased any type of console--how much does a basic Wii setup and a few fitness games cost approximately?

Other people I know love it. I hate to exercise and I'm hoping this would be a fun indoor way to start.

In Canada (where Ièm from) the system costs $209 and the Fit Plus Bundle costs $99. From there you can add other games (i.e. Jillian Michaels, etc.) for cheaper...

There is also a deal at Costco where you get the Fit Plus Bundle with the Jillian Michaels game for $139

Sooo aprox. $350 after taxes if you get the Jillian Michaels and Fit Bundle...

love it!

I love my Wii and I used to think the Wii Fit game was the greatest....that was until I got the EA Active! I love that even more. The variety is great.

Wii Fitness Video Game : EA SPORTS Active for Nintendo Wii

Now, if you were a marathon runner you would probably think the Wii is minor league. But for the rest of us it can be very good to tone and trim. It is fun too.

My theroy is - if it gets you to move your body it is GREAT!
