Are your calories high enough? Once I hit ketosis, my appetite tanked, and the scale stopped moving.

I started workng out doing level 1 of Julian Michaels 30 day thread on Day 1 till now. My calories are between 1200-2000 as I don't count and estimate. I don't eat the same amount every day.
The only questionable things that I consume from day one are: Diet Dr. Pepper, Cheese, and Baking Coco with sweet n low. 3gram of carb per table spoon and 2g fiber and it helps me go.

Some may argue, but the cocoa is not induction friendly. Some people also may stall when they use artificial sweeteners. (SnL, soda etc)
How much cheese are you eating? Remember to keep your dairy under 3oz a day if you aren't already.
My guess is your body is trying to play "catch up" since you had such a big loss your first week.
Congrats! You are doing great!

This has been addressed on these boards many, many times. You lost a tremendous amount of weight in one week. Granted much of it was water (a typical loss of FAT is about 2 lbs), but a big loss like that is a shock to your body. It is very, very common to not lose any more for a couple of weeks as your body adjusts.

The body will adjust by trying to retain some water to account for what was lost, so that although you may be losing fat, it will not show on the scale. Eventually, the body will achieve equilibrium, and you should begin to lose again--not at the same rate as you dumped that initial water, but you can see what is realistic with your WOE as the scale goes down.

Any sweeteners other than Splenda give me cravings, but doesn't make me stall or gain. More than 2 oz of cheese a day will make me stall. Dark chocolate doesn't make me stall either. What percent of your diet is fat? Higher fat (65 - 75%) works best for me. I don't exercise but walk alot in the course of the day.

If you are still eating from the Acceptable foods list, and eating 12-15 carbs from veggies, 2-3 T hwc a day, 3-4 ounces of cheese, and sticking to plan. YOu will start losing again. Most people have a hesitation in weight loss after the initial first 2 weeks of induction. Sometimes it can last 6 weeks after induction, or if your like me 4 weeks. I kept going on induction levels, but I decided to move onto owl to see if it helps with my loss. HANG IN THERE. You will start losing again, everyone evetually does.

Dr Atkins does frown on using Aspertame sweetners, Sweet n low is really unhealthy for you and so is the aspertame in the Diet Dr pepper. He requests that you really limit aspertame if not cut it out, and for the splenda to just use 3 servings a day. You can buy EX-sweetz from netrition. ITs liquid spenda with no carbs in it unlike the splenda packets.

I read that splenda is unhealthy. I only use sweet n low the liquid form to sweeten my coco every other day when I have time to make some before I go to work.

Totally normal, so definitely don't panic. It's also not uncommon to lose the first two weeks of induction and then gain a couple of pounds back the next week, especially if you've increased your exercise. Weight loss is definitely NOT a linear process.

It's still early for you to worry about tweaking, so just relax and enjoy the 11 pounds you've lost already.
