Day 4 and so much energy!!

I'm on day 4. Since day 2, I have TONS of energy! I'm literally wearing myself out during the day & crashing at night.

My sticks are only turning the lightest pink (and not even that last night), but I can tell by my energy level that this is working.

Five Weeks of Low Carb

In the past five weeks:

1. I've eaten a variety of foods, including meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, healthy fats, and berries.
2. I've taken supplements: multi-vitamin, multi-minerals, gingko biloba, cinnamon, fish oil
3. I'm drinking tea each night. Sometimes I add ACV or CO.
4. I'm sleeping through the night.
5. My BG is under control.
6. I have more energy in the afternoon.
7. I've lost weight at the rate of a pound a week.
8. I started exercising, building muscle, and burning fat.
9. My DH's BG is under control. He cut back on insulin 3 times.
10. I drink water throughout the day.
11. I've cut out diet drinks.
12. I've tracked my diet, feelings, pains, BG, and more, and now I'm taking steps to make positive changes.

This is just the beginning of my new wol. I've experienced a few frustrations along the way, but really, I am doing so much better. People comment not only on the weight loss, but they tell me I look like I feel better -AND I DO! I'm not 100% yet, but I will get there. Thank you LCF for your continued support! I couldn't have done it (or continue to do it) without you.

Way to go, Croshay and textastigerlily! Congratulations on the benefits of low-carb you are both experiencing!

Hey Lily--if you are on week five and eating berries, you are doing OWL (Phase Two: Ongoing Weight Loss). Come on over to our OWL thread in the Atkins Nutritional Approach area of the forums. We would love to see you there!

Here's the direct link to make it easier for you and anyone else who wants to do OWL. There is no need whatsoever to read through the thread--just skip the the last page if you want to.
