My goal is to wear clothes off the rack from the Gap or Old Navy. I'm really really tired of plus size stores and I want to be able to walk into any store, pick out a L or XL or a 14 and have it fit. When I get there, I will be at my goal.

I love nice clothes and shopping, and I am sorta afraid that I may go nuts when I have so much to choose from. but it will be a happy nuts.

If I had saved any clothes from that last time I was at goal they would say "Class of '84 Go Grizzleys!" on them. I'm just going to have to buy new ones.

I have two shirts that look vaguely like this... midriff baring with big ruffly sleeves.

So yeah, I'm not going to wear them until you can see abs.

I have a collection of pretty dresses that I am longing to wear - including one that was my favorite back when I was slim...

Well, I've gained more than that, just look at my stats. I want so badly to shed them!!! Sadly, I have quite a few outifts that no longer fit. A few pounds and now they seem so far away. SAD. I am determined to use Thanksgiving to my advantage because although it's a hard time of the year, it's where I started and it always motivates me. It's weird, but it helps me every year. Ugh...it's dinner time.

Oh, I almost forgot, besides for, you know, most of my wardrobe, I do have one piece of ultimate goal clothing. It's a black stretch satin knee length dress that is so form fitting and falls like a second skin that you can hardly wear regular underwear with it. It really shows every single curve on ones body and is super sexy despite having a pretty modest cut as far as length and cleavage goes. So to wear this one out in public I'll have to be in such good shape that I won't mind everyone being easily able to imagine what I look like naked.

I'm two pounds from my goal, and although I haven't been able to buy a lot of new things yet, I'm thrilled to be wearing size 6 pants. What makes it even better is that I'm actually able to wear some of my skinny DD21's pants. Here's a pic taken last week, wearing size six jeans. I NEVER thought I'd get into that size! I wish I had Julia's beautiful belly, though. That's one thing I don't think is ever going to happen. I was too big for too long and now I have loose skin.

Thanks, Julia, but the proof is in the picture. I hid from the camera when I gained even more weight after this, so I haven't been able to find any from almost 230 pounds. That's okay. I'm probably happier not looking at them, lol!

Im not sure yet...I have a cute pr of sz 4 jeans....I wore very comfortably a little over 3 yrs ago.....I kept them...but at 55...Im not sure sz 4 at 5'9" is a good thing...BTW today @ Marshall's I found a pr of 4L ( inflated in sz I am sure) that would almost fit....I may go back to get them for encouragement.

Yeah, I have a few pairs of pants that I try on every so often to see how they fit!! If they are fitting well I feel great and it inspires me to keep on going... and if they don't fit well I know I need to cut back.

Finally found the one I was rummaging for - this is my goal dress - it is crumpled up in the bottom of a storage bag somewhere - unworn for about a decade.... I used to LOVE this dress.

Mogget, is that you in the picture? Beautiful and I'm sure you'll get back to wearing that soon.

My goal clothing would be getting into a 14/16 as of this moment. I dont have any clothes smaller then what I am right now which is a size 18. Ive always been at this size for years. The smallest was a 16 but that was YEARRRRRRS ago.....I've never been thin...so just to get to 14/16 would be lovely! Just to buy in normal sizes would be awesome!

I have a whole wardrobe of clothes in storage that are size 6 from last year. I can't WAIT to be able to wear them again. Especially the jeans, I have some really nice pairs of smaller jeans.. I'm currently in a 12.
