We have Chayotes vines they grow very huge climbing the trees, they grow better at our house in Mexico than here in California. Very tasty!!!

I was thinking about starting some and putting them to grow on our fence. How heavy do the vines get? Would they be too heavy for field fence?

I love chayote. Use it all the time in chicken stew and as a potato replacement.
