52 and calm winds, cloudy and still damp here in Oak Brook, IL. Will head out to the Wheaton, return for a jog N. to Addison on the paved Salt Creek Trail and take it all the way to Brookfield and back for just over 52 miles. I just hope the sun comes out later? At least it is warmer by a little bit than yesterday.

aaaarrrgh. I tried to do my treadmill today. I have the energy to exercise, but my respiratory system is holding me back. All I do is cough. This flu thing is relentless. I can't believe I have been sick for over a week now. sigh....

I would rest if I were sick. To me it is no good getting a crappy work out and feeling worse.

The flu is reason enough to "back off" and let the body heal. Came in awhile ago, just didn't feel like doing the whole circuit, GPS reported 46 miles.

Going to wait till this evening for dinner though, didn't compete my goal.

i see this thread a lot since starting in jan.....i've given myself a new rule....no logging on the LC friends until I get my exercise in....baby steps... a bit of bike and some weights....gahhhh! so out of shape.....
