I make a feta cheese dressing with mayo, a bit of sour cream, feta cheese and some garlic powder. YUM! It is a great dip as well.

Blue cheese is good one of my favs.

I also make a good Sweet hot mustard dressing, just dump portions of dijon, chili garlic sauce, garlic wine vinegar, some extra garlic if you want, and a bit of sweetener. I use it for everything. great on steak salad or hamburger salad , a dip for chicken, salmon or shrimp. Great on avocado and tomatoes. If you want to up the fat you could add some grape seed oil, but I don't.

I just use Kraft ranch. I don't like Hidden Valley even though it's lower carb.

Oh my bacon ranch sounds so good!!

I'm glad you liked the sweet hot mustard dressing idea, it is kinda strong so use it sparingly at first lol. I really love it though.

I like making my own. This recipe was posted originally by someone named Sosumi, I think. I cut down the size. I personally don't have any issues with a little MSG, which is what "Accent" is. But I've left it out sometimes and it still tastes yummy to me. I like making my own because I can control the ingredients, and it's easy. I've also made it with sour cream, thinned a little with cream, instead of Buttermilk. Yummy!

Ranch Dressing

1 cup buttermilk
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Accent® seasoning mix
1/2 teaspoon onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Store in refrigerator.

My DH really likes Thousand Island, and making my owns saves carbs. Here's the recipe I use:

Thousand Island Dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Heinz One-Carb Ketchup
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
2 drops liquid splenda (any artificial sweetener, just a touch)
2 teaspoons dill pickle relish
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well.

Place dressing in a covered container and refrigerate. Makes about 3/4 cup.

Google: The pioneer woman. It's a really neat blog and she has a recipe section (not the tasty kitchen part) and has a really good recipe for homemade ranch. Ceasar too. I haven't made that one yet, but it is on my list.
