DH gave a speech for his college class using the argument that low-carb was a better diet/lifestyle option than low-fat. He posted our before and after pictures at the start of his speech. One girl stopped him after he put them up and said, "Okay, you've convinced us!"

So I thought I'd share the pics.

These are before and afters from the first time we followed Atkins, in 2004. I am currently 11 pounds away from my weight in the bottom picture. DH is about five pounds over his.

@ soon2bskinny.............Amazing transformation!!! What is so awesome is the fact that when we lose such a substantial amount of weight WE LOOk no where near the same person. Its very rewarding, not only health wise but the physical aspect.

My daughter swears that the more weight I lose, the younger I become. She made my day the other morning when she said, "Mom, I hope when I'm as old as you are, I look just as young" I love that child.
