For me the things i've noticed this time...
1. my watch is loose and i need to take a section out
2. i can pull my jeans down without unbuttoning and unzipping them
3. my winter coat that i wore three years ago can now be zipped up again

-When more girls start checking you out...
-When parents start saying "you're looking well"...
-When you know that clothes you try on will look good...
-When you care less about your haircut
-When you care less about what you're wearing

the bold one is the one that seems to impact me most. sometimes when i'm heavier i feel like a haircut or highlights will solve everything...................it doesnt

Not much of one, but I had the most difficult time trying to find jeans that fit. Typically, I buy the lovely pullon elastic waisted ones and Saturday, I went to Macy's to buy new jeans (18s too big, 16s OK with a long blouse, shirt) and I had to try on several styles.

Before, there was one style, Walmart.

Congrats to everyone.

My favorite pretty hoody sweatshirt that I got last winter is HUGE on me now. Almost to the point where it is uncomfortable to wear. I wore it alot while visiting my dad at the hospital. It was comforting.
Wish my dad had lived long enough to see me finally get some victory with this mess.

Anyone els " miss" favorite shirts, other clothes? I know get new ones Not in the budget at the moment, especially when I have so much more to loose.

Maybe I'll make a pillow out of it

Ohmygoodness, I have so many awesome pieces of clothing! That's the most painful part for me. For forever, I have only bought pieces I absolutely loved. I recently posted a picture of me in my prom dress, which will soon be too big. DH says my Hawaiian dress doesn't look right on me because it's way too loose. I have a whole closet like this. I am going to need a tailor/magician by the end of my weight-loss journey. The pillow idea is great!

When you're walking with shopping bags in both hands, trying to hold your kid's hand at the same time, and someone says from behind, "Hey Lady, your pants are falling down!" So embarrassing, and yet part of me inside is saying, right on!

Heh... I caught myself looking in the mirror and trying to suck my belly in. It didn't work, I still looked like an old fat man. I mean my belly almost came even with my chest, but it didn't really...

This is different because, before... there was no hope of sucking my belly in. Zero. I never even bothered to try.

Yeah, my winter coat is enormous on me now, and I don't really want to buy a new one because I just bought this one a couple of years ago.

Some of my favorite tops are way too big and I don't know if they can be taken in, because they're stretchy knit material.

I had a pair of old-school non-stretch size 6 Gap jeans from the late 90s that I used as my goal jeans. I figured that no matter what my scale weight was, when I could get back into those jeans I would know I was the same size I used to be. Well. I was doing laundry last Friday and grabbed those jeans to wear, as I had my other pairs in the wash. They were not just "comfortable" or "a little loose", they were baggy as hell and falling down. That's great, but I never got to really wear them again. The trade-off is worth that slight disappointment, though.

Another one I came across today:

that even with the weekend "bounce" you realize your favorite work pants are getting too big. And are very annoyed by that fact.

In the lingiere department at the shops you can start buying "lacy" and "frilly" instead of "reinforced" and "bulletproof."

Great thread, but I actually LOL at this one ^.

Actually the underwear thing is annoying as I can no longer buy cheap underwear from the department store. I need to go to a proper lingiere shop to get my size (small back, big cup).

LOL, yes!

And when your old ones become granny panties because of all the extra fabric. I used to think they were cute, but now, not so much.

This is great. I love all of the responses.

When I don't recognize myself in pictures.

A person down the hall where I work says "You are going to blow away one of these days" (yea right, see my siggy. Difficult for me to believe when I once weighed over 360)

I remember when I lost weight before I also bleached my hair. Well, I volunteered for Vacation Bible School and they had made a video of the week's activities to show the parents that Sunday. There was one shot that panned over our row of first-graders and I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out who that blond girl was that was sitting with them. LOL, it was me!

New One!

This morning I discovered that I was sleeping in the same position I did as a child. That is, on my stomach with my right arm folded under and sticking out from the left side of my body, and my left arm and leg stretched out away from that same side. At 200 pounds there was no way I could have slept on my stomach (who can sleep on top of a beach ball?) or laid on my own arm without instant circulation issues.

I was so comfy!

I have a new happy one!

I LOVE to get my feet pedicured. It's *usually* my twice-monthly treat when I get paid. My schedule got hectic over the last few months, so I couldn't go. Things finally calmed down this weekend and I got to take a Saturday off. So on Saturday, I was there looking for my favorite nail gal after 2.5 months of no feetsy pampering.

When I used to go to this shop at 315 pounds, when I sat in the spa pedicure chair the side tray/armrest thing used to always pop open because I was too broad for the seat. My nail lady (the sweetest person in the world, very kind) would quietly put a chair up against it to keep it in place (trying not to embarrass me).

When my nail lady saw me Saturday she said with surprise "Wow! You lose lots weight!" (She is from Vietnam and her English is not perfect, but I always understand her!)

Later when I was almost done, she smiled and said "Look! You so much littler now, tray don't pop open no more! Stay closed on its own!"

I hadn't noticed, but when she pointed it out, it MADE MY DAY!!!
