Kathy, this is an idea I had a couple days ago I haven't really had the chance to test yet. I got some precooked frozen meatballs that I had planned to skillet fry in twos and threes as a snack, then I was cleaning my car's trunk when I came across my plugin coffee mug. My brain put the two together and I wondered if during one of my day trips I could put the frozen meatballs in the mug, plug it in, and when the time came for lunch they would be defrosted and warmed up. If it works, other frozen-to-warm precooked things might work well too. Just a random thought I had.
Awesome idea! Hurry up and try it!

Well, I was hoping you would try it for me, that way any gastric distress caused by such dangerous food handling procedures would happen to someone who's... you know... not me.

Actually I do have a weekend excursion planned. Maybe I will try it.

morning restarters.. I'm off to work early today and weighed this morning and have not lost an oz. GRRRR. I'm mad about it too, i was down 3 lbs and then it went back up yday and then again this morning.

I'm sure I am retaining water by the feel of my rings and my face is a little puffy. I guess this is just part of it and there will be days like this.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Day 9 I think

Food is becoming less of an issue. I am so glad to have made it this far. I am down 15 pounds from August. The next thing to work on making easy is exercise. I know if it becomes a habit I can enjoy it. I was thinking maybe boxing or kickboxing or something. I need to get my kids off the wii.

Hey Everyone!

I'm still around. Still completely on plan. Today is day 5. I've been battling with late night cravings and not being hungry until the afternoon. So I've started eating breakfast even if I'm not really hungry. Seems to be helping since last night I was alright craving wise.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Still going strong here too. Expecting to be shut off from the board in a little bit, but that's OK since I really have something I need to get done today.

Hi guys! May I join you? Today is day three back on track for me. I lost so much weight five years ago and have put all of it back on plus more! It's very discouraging, and I need a support group. I know the boards will be going down in a few minutes for the day, so I'll check back in tomorrow when I get to work.

My breakfast for today was 2 scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese, and two pieces of turkey bacon. Planning on tuna for lunch.

Have a great day guys!

Newcomers!!

@ Sara: You just have to force yourself. Start out by walking 15-30 mins a few days a week. You will feel good once you get in the groove. Exercise is great and speeds up your weightloss.

Can I join in?

I'm on restart day 11. I have been just "maintaining" since March or so and it's time to start losing again.

My husband was supposed to start back up with me, but he's not getting with the program (sneaking Cheetos!) and I could use the support and accountability.

I find that when I am losing weight, I naturally feel more like exercising. When I am stalled I feel lethargic. A day or two in solid ketosis makes me antsy to get out and do things.

to all the newcomers! This is day 6 for me! I've been really busy with work, so not really time to think about cravings, etc. I tried not to weigh until next week, but when I put on my suit pants yesterday, I found I had to pin them to have them stay up!!!! Now, they were a little loose before, but it felt great! So I weighed and found I was down 4 pounds in 5 days.

My neice is getting married 10/17 and although I have me some Spanx...my dress will look much better if not so tight across my backside...

Today will be a real test. I have a meeting all day at a place where they only serve fruit and pastries in the AM and they have these homeade garlic rolls at lunch. They do have this awesome grilled salmon with a thai sauce on top which I plan on getting, but oooooooh those rolls...Lord help me resist!

Thanks for the welcome, Meek! I was originally on Atkins back in the late 90's and went from very large to very tiny. My weight leveled out to healthy and normal, and then I gained a bit too much after my spouse had an accident in 2003. Have been working on that, as you can see from stats, but I have to be motivated now and not be lazy about it.

Next spring, I'm going to be promoting a charity project I'm working on and will be facing cameras and press and will be schmoozing with far too many "beautiful people" than I feel comfortable with and having to be in the public eye. I don't want to do it at this weight.

So, I really need to focus and accelerate and get back to my good weight or at least close to it, by next spring.

Thanks for the motivation and support.

Hi Restarters!! Just stopping by really quick. I'm doing well. Bacon + coffee -- not sure about lunch -- dinner will be a Tender Grilled Chicken Salad from Burger King. No exercise today. I am sleep deprived and miserable, so I'm going to bed as soon as I get home from work. Have a great day and to all the newcomers!!

Hi everyone do you mind if I join you. I actually started on the first, but I've had a stomach flu for a week, so my new loss isn't correct. This is my second time around and I losing so slow that I get discouraged so fast. But I know that I'll be there eventually.
Support and reporting helps me be accountable. I belong to a gym but I have'nt been in awhile. But plan on restarting on Mon. You all sound like a nice group with alot of support.

I'm just checking in with the restarters. Today is day 25 for me and I've lost 10lbs. It's a bummer that it isn't more but atleast I'm staying on plan and keeping focused. I feel great.

How is everyone else feeling/doing?
