What is your VFT?

Dovelette posted in another thread that her VFT was 155 lbs. VFT = Virgin Fat Territory - a weight you haven't weighed in a very, very long time. She said she hadn't weighed that since age 11 or 12.

What is YOUR VFT?

Mine is 205. I haven't weighed 205 since I gave birth to my daughter 17 years ago.

My second VFT is 175 - what I weighed when I got married 22 years ago.

My third VFT is 165 - what I weighed when I graduated from high school.

My final VFT is 135 - What I weighed when I was in 9th grade.

What a funny concept! I love how the LCF's make terms for everything lol.

Well my first VFT would be 150. Its what I weighed when I was 14-15, before I lost weight and then gained it all back and more at 17.

My second would be 125, because I actually got lower than that, but for most of my 16th year of life I hovered around 125 without trying and before I started overeating.

My third and final VFT would be at 115, the lowest weight I ever was (after puberty lol), at my 16th birthday. I'm not sure when I started gaining weight again, but being at 115 didn't last long unfortunately. Got some great pics from then though, and I have them on my phone to look at for motivation.

My VFT's are actually my goal weights!

Oh gosh, mine would have to be 130 lbs and anything under that. I last weighed 130 lbs when I was 14 or so! I'm now 47.

Oh my....let's see.

I got down to 165-ish when I was on a diet back in high school (so about 22 years ago).

In the last 15 years, I've flirted with 200 a couple of times, getting as low as 192.

I'm about 20 lbs over that now, with a goal of losing 40 more total. I'd really like to be in the 170-175 range as a goal.

FYI I believe the term VFT was coined by the guys over on the Boot Camp Charlie support thread.

For me its 187
I glimpsed 188 on the scale several months ago and havent gotten down below it

Everything under 209 I considered VFT as I hit it on the way down. I had a weightwatchers booklet from ten years ago that proved I once weighed in at 209.

In my early twenties I was as small as 145ish however its been over a decade since I was below 200 so once I get down to 187 its all VFT from there down.

My VFT would be 142 to 118.

I lost to about 135 in my 20s, 120 in college. In college, my start "OMG" weight was my goal weight now!

But that was low-fat dieting, and I'm between 5'9 and 5'10 with a small to medium frame.

Those diets were responsible, I'm sure, for some of the issues I have now.

Eight years ago when I LC'ed I got to 143 (seven pounds below first goal.) It was not too thin (see my gallery "after" photo).

This time, again, once I reach 150, I'm all about building muscle and staying within a healthy range but continuing to firm up and possibly get smaller.

VFT - 220. I havent seen that number in probably 10 years, in fact I think I was down closer to 200 back then. The last time I did Atkins back in 2001/2002 I got down to 223............so close!

My VFT: 130-135 -my weight through high school and college. I am 5'6 w a med./lg. muscular frame.
I settled at 142 within a month after both pregnancies w/ no effort.

I want to try to get as close to 130 as possible now. But, now that I weight train and LC, 130 may actually be too low for me. Time will tell!

I was 142 November 1 last year. So i'll take 141. I haven't been 141 in 5 years. Before that, I was usually 135.

mine is 155 (gosh that's 12 pounds away!!!) - at my lowest, on weight watchers, I hit 160 - but I haven't weighed 155 since high school (and that was also after losing 70 pounds in HS)...

goal is 160 - but I would LOVE to weigh my "VFT" of 155 - or 150!!!!

hmm, last time I LC'd I got to 148 (2003) then got pregnant . So anything below that would be VFT which would also be below my goal weight. My WiiFit tells me my ideal weight is 136 but of course it doesn't take lean muscle mass into account so I don't expect to ever reach that! I haven't been below 148 as an adult and I have no idea what I weighed in HS (was tinny until hormones / PCOS kicked in at 15 then started to balloon up).

147. Have not seen that # since 1994, it's just barely in the normal BMI range, and it's my goal. The punch line is it's almost ten pounds more than I weighed in 1984, when at my first visit with a new doctor, he asked "so how long have you been obese?"

My VFT is anything below 193. I lost from 272 to 193 in the late 80's when I was first diagnosed with diabetes. I know I was in a size 16-18 in the 10th grade, but I have no clue what I actually weighed. I have always said that when I hit puberty, it hit back. I was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia and PCOS in my early 20's. High estrogen, high testosterone and no progesterone.

130, the weight I was in high school. I was actually happy with my body. I had curves that made me question my sexuality. I thought it was the perfect weight. I told my mom so, and she disagreed. ...That was the last I was happy with my body.

The BMI says I should be 114 or something, but screw that. I know what I looked like at 130.

My weight after high school was consistently 172 for many years, until I started taking some meds that screwed me up. So my goal is 160. Thinner than normal... and maybe easy enough to convince me to move my goal to 130 once I get there.

Sadly, 269 10 years ago. Have gotten down to 270 to 275 several times, but haven't stayed there. Always seem to start slipping up at that point. Going to have to really watch it this time.

145 - My lowest weight doing atkins last time 2004/05, i blinked and it was gone! I've never seen under 145 since then, so 140-145 is my goal.

156- The big stall. After losing 60 lbs. I stalled/maintained this weight for about 6 months, then i went off plan and gained it all back and then some. I looked & felt good at this weight.

175 - Been trying to get there for months now, but those few pounds won't budge. I remember this weight being a set point last time too.

Dieted down to 118 when I was 21..too skinny actually for 5'7", don't expect or want to see that again.

I'm shooting for 125, what I weighed when I got married...think I look pretty good now at 140ish, 130'sh would be more realistic for me I think, but my goal is 125.
