Where in Europe? I'm guessing maybe Italy from your profile pic? I"m so jealous!

And don't give me a hard time again, but yesterday was a disaster... I get to swing dance class and there's NO CLASS!! I waited for the longest time and no one showed up. So then I was like, fine, I'll do an elliptical workout at night now that I have my iPod back, even though I don't like to do elliptical workouts at night, and then my iPOd battery was DEAD...

... and then I gave up.

Off to a better start today.... just did 32 minutes on the elliptical and my shuffle seemed to know just what I needed because it gave me two songs from the Run Lola Run soundtrack which force me to go really hard. Songs worked out to today:

Hungry Like A Wolf (Duran Duran)
Supermarket (Clemek) (from Run Lola Run)
Pac-Man Fever (Buckner & Garcia)
Sex Tonight (Gillette)
Introduction (Johnny Klimek) (from Run Lola Run)
Rhythm is Gonna Get You (Gloria Estefan)
Everybody Wants You (Billy Squier)

Don't be jealous, dh was able too pick his (overseas assignment) next duty station and this is where he picked. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't be here otherwise. A good choice considering he spent 15 months in Iraq. His next assigment he'd like to request Germany once again.

Great ride, Mike!

It's not been a good biking season for me as you can tell by my mileage....

Today will be weights and if the wind doesn't pick up I hope to get out for a ride and then get some pool time....we'll see how it goes!

UGH! I could only manage about 40 minutes this morning due to foot pain. I have a serious problem with my right foot!!!
I'm going to buy a new pair of shoes and some arch supports this afternoon. The last time I had foot pain(from exercising) a doctor told me to get arch supports, and said I kind of had flat feet. I think that's probably due to wearing converse lo-tops for the past eight years
Well, I never got them. Because I'm a cheapskate and can always think of something my husband or kid needs before me, anyway. NO MORE! Darn it.
So, I might be resting the rest of the day. But if the shoes are doing me right, I might try walking this evening. Either way, back on the horse tomorrow.

Girlie, if I could give you some GREAT advice it would be to INVEST IN GOOD SHOES ...

Take it from a woman who has a 3/8ths inch titanium screw in her left foot ... who, with the help of terrific shoes and an orthotic, is *still* running 30-35 miles a week virtually pain-free! The key is to replace your shoes every 300 miles RELIGIOUSLY ... trust me, its worth it !

I had the same problem when I started exercising, cause I wore Converse religiously for a few years and wore pretty much any sort of flat type shoe, so I, too, have flat feet. Even now I don't wear regular tennis shoes other than to exercise in. I'm too attached to my Van's slip on shoes. But I did start wearing regular tennis shoes to exercise in and it made the world of difference. I also did notice that when I lost a good portion of my weight, the pain in my foot did go away. My feet used to be on fire when I ran or did something like Turbo Jam where I'd have to jump around a lot. I have none of that pain anymore.

I just finished 31 minutes of a cardio workout on the treadmill (speed 4.2, incline mostly 6). I was aiming for 60 minutes and I just ran out of steam

But...it's better that I did that than nothing so I'm okay with it

I did Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and walked 1.5 miles. So about 40 min. total, was aiming for more but the baby woke up early from her nap. I wish I were one of those people who could get up a 5:00 am and work out but I just can't do it!
