Don't limit your carbs

so much that you never feel satisfied. I heard this jewel on the John Tesh radio progam, "Intelligence for Your Life." Isn't it ironic that limiting your carbs helps you to feel satisfied? With low fat, I was hungry all the time!

If one is following a low fat nutrition plan the advice not to cut carbs too low is actually a good one.

And even following a low carb plan it is important to get veggies & some fruit. They do help to fill one up.

In both cases those carbs should be whole foods, not processed carbs.

I agree with what you're saying. My DH is not on low carb and eats lots of fruit. I have some, mostly in the form of berries. We both have lots of vegies. There are so many vegies (and fruit) this time of the year, it's hard to choose!
