Wow! That's what I said to everyone's pics as I looked through them. I just started my P90X program and clean eating last week but already lost 9 pounds. I can't wait to post my own transformation pics when I am through with the program. Thank you for the inspiration!

In my signature. Gained 5 back, but convinced its the 20% lost rule bloodsugar101 has mentioned, havent changed my diet - been under 30 carbs daily.

I have recently (TODAY!) added in exercise which I am proud of, I am a full time worker and full time student, have two kids and a hubby, but I am done making the excuse that I dont have time for exercise. I want to live a long life for my kids.

Bike riding 3 times a week now. I want to lose just 25 more.

Angie, I don't know anything about callanetics, but I sure will check into it.
I just noticed your stats. I am 40 yo I am 5'2 and started at 150 too. How do you feel about your legs? It has always been my worst area.

LoveFlipFlops, I my legs. LOL Especially my hips! Yes, that is almost exactly the same stats (now, if I could just get down to your goal weight!!) Callanetics really does work. I won't say it's a "sexy" workout - it's like from the 70s, but when Twyla says "it's magic," she's not joking! And, it is very relaxing (not cardio at all). I know there are new Callanetics workouts out there these days, but I stick to 10-in-10 because it worked for me. I really need to get back into it. There are also other "barre" type workouts - Lotte Berk and the Burr Bar Method (Burr Leonard), but Callanetics was my preferred (I didn't like the Lotte Berk ones at all).

Sorry, I'm rambling - not enough caffeine yet I guess. But, I would defnitely check out Ten Years Younger in Ten Hours. After about 10 workout sessions (about 45 minutes each), I had lost around 9 total inches - if I recall, about 6 of those were in my hips/thighs/saddlebags areas!

Sorry for the threadjack all. /tj

Yep, that's Cedar Falls. The Cedar Falls hiking trail is really good for hikers that are not quite total noobs, but definitely not advanced and needing tons of crazy equipment- and when you get to the bottom you get that awesome view. There's another set of waterfalls near Ash Cave, and you can hike to the top of the cliff and walk over the stream that forms the fall.

The one in October 2008 is Squire's Castle in Kirtland, which also has decent hiking trails.

I have done the Cedar Falls trail before, I love it! We did the whole park in a little under two days, I can't wait to go back.
I can't even tell you how many times I have been to Squires. I used to do wedding photography and it's a popular spot among bridal parties! I live about 10 minutes away from Squires.
