Here's an in progress pic. The "before" shot is from May of this year, probably at my heaviest. I started LC exactly 3 months ago at 299. I've been hovering around 265 for the past few weeks but I'm still losing inches. I attribute the lost inches + the weight staying the same to an increase in muscle mass w/ a decrease in fat as I've been weight training for about 6 weeks. I may up my goal weight to a fit 205 as opposed to an average / slim build at 185. I'll take 20 lbs. of muscle if I can manage it and continue on this path.

I'd like to be at 205 by May 2011, just to see the huge difference a year can make.

I took a look and think you are AMAZING. Honestly, you have to be thrilled and proud of yourself! Awesome!!!

And, the chicken and sauasge lasagna looks sooo good. The last picture of it in the oven with the melted cheesy goodness made me hungry!

Thanks everyone! That 1st pic is from May, and while I wasn't weighing myself at the time, I wouldn't be surprised if I was 310 or so. I started walking but was still eating crap until August when I got serious and threw all the rice and cereal and pasta out. I'm feeling soooo much better now and have tons of energy. I'm becoming less concerned w/ the scale because I've been adding muscle for the last few weeks and everyone knows that muscle weighs more than fat. I know that as long as I stay on this path, the muscle that I'm gaining will overtake the remaining fat for fuel.

LK, you can see major difference in the face. If those two pics were sized correctly with you looking the same height in both pics you would see even more of a difference too. Take a current pic in a more form fitting shirt and send it to me where you can see from feet to head. I'll put it next to your old pic for you. Cause if I remember reading your posts right you have gone from a size 24 to a 14, so that's quite a difference girl!

Your doing a fantastic job. I love reading your blog..

I have various health problems & I like walking on the treadmill, although some days it's hard.

WOW a mile in 10 minutes. that will be good.. I'm a long way, away from that.
