Today I realized...

that what was a struggle just a few months ago is no longer an issue. Right before I started LCing I was so out of breath when I tried to tie my shoes. I couldn't touch my toes and I had to wiggle and struggle to get in jeans that are now baggy and too big to wear out in public. (I never thought that would happen).

Today I realized I was in the plus size area of the store when I no longer need to be. I never thought I would be able to go over to the Misses dept again. Just a few months ago I was picking out sizes that were too small but I was praying would fit because I did not want to move another size up (again). Now I'm moving down.

Today I realized I'm becoming more confident in myself, the old me is peeking out of her shell again. And I can make the right choices in foods not because I'm dieting but because I care about myself, I want to look good and feel good. I no longer want to hide out, afraid someone will see me. I want to go out and face the world and embrace life!!

Today I hope someone else realizes that if someone like me, a struggling carb addict can do this, that they certainly can too!!

I LOVE today!! And I can't wait for tomorrow!!

Some times we're so focused on where we want to be that we forget where we were, the journey has more than one part! Good for you!!

Thanks so much for your support everybody. I was scared to post and almost erased it a couple times as I do most of my posts because a lot of times I feel I have nothing worthy to offer. But if it encouraged someone then I am glad I did.
