Exercise: BELIEVE the hype!

Just wanted to share a bit of good news. For the past couple of months, I've been working out regularly for the first time in my life. I'm rebounding and lifting weights using one of Venuto's regimines. Anyway, I couldn't sleep last night so I started trying on some things in my closet that have been too small to wear. Most of them I've bought semi-recently and bought them too small on purpose as motivation.

Well, almost all of them fit now!!

Excuse me now while I go workout!!!!

Thanks!!

I cannot tell you the number of times I've started an exercise program, enjoyed it, but then got discouraged and wondered if what I was doing would really work and then talked myself into quitting.

Not this time! I hope by sharing I can inspire someone else to take on exercise while low carbing. It CAN be done!

WTG!!

I firmly believe that one of the main reasons I've lost so quickly is that I've been dedicated in my exercise.

It makes a huge difference!!

Congrats!

You inspired me to get off my butt and walk around the neighborhood tonight. It's not much, but it's a start ... and I've been living such a sedentary life, that anything is better than nothing. Any night I'm tempted to just sit on the couch instead of going out for a walk, I'm going to re-read your post for encouragement.

THAT'S what I wanted to hear! I don't think anyone could've hated exercise more than I used to. Now, I want to do it. I started small and made my goal to do something several times per week and PROGRESS in difficulty. For me, it makes more sense than saying I have to 'lose x number of lbs. or inches by x date'. I can't control that. What I can control is how often I workout and when I up the challenge. The rest will follow, naturally. Good luck!!

I wasn't a big fan of exercise either, we own a treadmill but frankly it was gathering a lot of dust. My husband signed both of us for a gym membership last week, he wanted it mainly for weight training. I really wasn't thrilled about it but after 4 days in a row now.....i am hooked! I don't find myself eating anymore because of the exercise and if anything, it's just more motivation and gets me more excited about going!
