My personal experience with drinking while eating LC is not that the alcohol itself has an effect on my weightloss...but the fact is that alcohol can "lower your defenses" so to speak....and you might find yourself with an urge to snack and/or eat something you shouldn't. I absolutely drink, but I rarely, if ever have more than 1. I drink only wine and other alcohol but without mixers. I don't drink beer or any sort of mixed drink... My nightly routine is to come home (usually 7:30 or 8pm), get dinner going, do 30-45 minutes of exercise, then jump into the hot tub to relax for 20-30 minutes before eating. Maybe every other night we have "un tragito" (a drink) while in the hot tub. After a horrible stressful day (which is most days for me)....I look forward to being able to do that if I want to. I have been steadily losing for 5 months without an issue. But you know...everybody is different. I think some posters feel it really stalls their weight loss...or maybe it would make you lose slower. I'm happy with a 1-2 lb loss per week and I'm in it for the long haul and not having a drink if/when I want it would make me feel very deprived!

yea
yes beer is the one im worried about I am prob gonna go the plain liquor route non flavored. It has 0 carbs and ill mix with diet coke or energy drink. Liquor seems the way to go, and i dont have anything carb dangerous in the apt only mama lupe wraps meat and cheese lol. So even if my defense is brought down the damage done would not be bad at all.

Alcohol will be used as fuel by the body before fat. You might also find it sets off cravings, and also that your tolerance for liquor is lower. I enjoy a cocktail now and then, and all three of these issues come into play when I do.
