It's not new by any means. It's a program geared toward getting people in shape to run marathons in just a few weeks.

Er, not quite marathons. It's a program to get you to run a 5k, aprox. 3 miles, in aprox. 9 weeks.

Marathons, yowsers. I am just hoping to finish and run a 5K. I just finished Week 6 Day 1 yesterday. Week 1 I thought I would die before 60 seconds was up. I ran for 20 minutes straight last Friday after just 5 weeks. It is a great program and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nobody trains for a marathon in a few weeks, I am here to tell ya! Light years difference between a 5k (3.1 miles) and a marathon (26.2 miles)!

The Couch to 5k program is great!

I got some new shoes today...my old ones were KILLING me...I literally slid forward a half inch with every step...can you say shin splints???

Anyway...went to my chiro...got my knees and ankles adjusted then got my new shoes...I'm ready to go...again.
