3lbs in 3 days

I'm back to 50g of carbs or less a day. I slipped for a while- macaroni and cheese with the kids, a soda with lunch out, the occasional dessert...but I'm reeling it in as we speak! It's been good so far, nothing major with cravings, yet. I'm tracking on ****** to keep myself honest. (and so far, no cheats!)

3lbs in 3 days and I dont care if it IS water weight. Action proceeds motivation. If I do it, then I will see results and want to keep doing it.

I dont know if this is the time that will stick or not, I've tried before. But today is the only day that matters and today I am doing it!

You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a minor slip-up yesterday evening (made a LC pizza to share with the Spouse and I ate too much of it!!!) I aim for 30 net carbs or fewer. Back on track and back on the treadmill today!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you suggest LC to a friend?

I have a friend (yes, a real friend, and no, it's not me in disguise!)She's always complaining about how fat she is. In fact its' pretty much the basis of our friendship. We met in a weightloss class at church and have been walking buddies off and on for a few years now.

She's gone through some stressful times, moving and family, etc. and has added about 30 pounds to her weight in the last year. I'll admit- it's showing. (She's 5'2" and probably 200+. It's hard when you're so short.)

We've tried everything. Water challenges, walking, weightwatchers- apparently anything with a "W"! While I'm down from my highest of 211, she's never actually lost anything. She just talks about it. She says its' a downward spiral and she's stuck getting fatter and fatter. I want to help her, but I'm afraid that I can do nothing for her. I want to give her my DANDR book and have us start it together. Any tips on things I should tell her?
