Why I LOVE Sprouts Farmers Market!

1. Cheap tofu
2. Bulk flaxmeal (way cheaper than pre-packaged)
3. Basil plants (a total shocker- they've got basil and mint plants right now)

any other Sprouts lovers out there??

Is Tofu ok. I low to eat it, but am worried about the stalling. I love Bean Sprouts though. I don't see the other type of club sandwich type of sprouts anymore around here.

I rely on Sprouts for all my meat, fish and poultry. All very good quality and the sale prices are good, so I stock up and freeze the extra.

Their produce is a little more hit-or-miss. Sometimes it's great, and other weeks when I go there, the cauliflower looks like crap, the green beans aren't anywhere to be found, and my boyfriend says their fruit isn't very consistent.

But I still like Sprouts, and prefer them to the alternatives. They also have the lowest price in town on Marie's salad dressings. And their house brand cheeses are a good value and excellent quality.

I liked Wild Oats but then Whole Foods bought them out. Whole Foods is very consistent with their quality, but they're also pricier, and I think their publicly expressed "values" are at odds with the reality of their practices.

I adore Sprouts, too!

Love their almond butter! (In the bulk section in the containers they use for deli salads.) It is 1/4 the price of the jar ones, and tastes soooo fresh!

Their chicken chorizo is killer, too!
