What would you do?
I live in NC and my father, who is very sick, lives in FL. I was told last night to keep my "clothes" at the ready (funeral clothes). I have skirts and pants that are about 10- 15lbs too small. In a couple of weeks, I am getting a deep freezer and am going to stock up to get back on track. I lose very easily and quickly when I am back on track.
We don't know if I will need these clothes in a couple of weeks or a month or so. So... should I go buy appropriate pants or skirt in the size I am now or wait? I don't want to scamble to find something that fits when the time comes (been there, did that in April 08) |

Personally, I would just buy some relatively inexpensive clothes for the funeral, rather than squeezing into clothes that are too small. You will look so much better wearing clothes that fit your body properly and will make you look thinner than you really are!

I would wait. Hopefully, you will need clothes later rather than soon (my best wishes to your dear Father) But it should not be too hard to find some basic black pants or a skirt with a top whenever the time comes.

That being said, if you CAN get clothes quickly when the time comes, maybe wait it out? Just make sure you have something comfortable... Last edited by Mindy; 01-05-2009 at 12:42 PM.. |

to you and your dad.I'd hit the racks at GW or Sally's and pick up something that fits now if you don't want to scramble at the last minute for something to wear. Or you could pick up something at a regular store and leave on the tags...as you shrink, take it back and buy the next smaller size so you'll still have something on hand.[/COLOR] |
