eat right for your blood type.

I was curious about this eating plan, so I checked it out. I am O positive, and it turns out that low carb is best for this type!

I've read about it, and doubt that it's true. But I'm O+ too and low carb really suits me and I find it easy to stay on, so, who knows?

I'm A+, which is high carbs / low-fat, with no dairy, animal fats, or meats. While I gained weight following it, I'll admit that the program is such an intriguing premise.

Most lc authors or authors who write about WOE's don't necessarily agree with D'Amo but they sure quote and mention ERFYT in many books. It is fascinating.

I am A+ positive too and I think eating that way would make me balloon up even bigger than I am right now.

I am a B+ Nomad and everything is right on for me except I don't agree with eliminating chicken or tomatoes from my diet.

When I was at my National Association of Nutrition Professionals conference this year, I heard a few professionals discrediting most of D'Amo's teachings. There are certain allergies some blood types have over others but that's what I remember them saying.

It's not backed up by science. But it sold a lot of books and I am sure that was the intent...

It's all so darn confusing! Who can be believed? I'm starting to trust myself more than "authorities" and MD's.

I'm an A+ too and I'd be DOOMED on that plan.

Give me controlled carbs, HIGH FAT and tons of animal fat.

O+ here as well. Maybe that's why I don't get the "induction flu"

I love Atkins. I love low-carb.

You as 0 negative can only eat green M&M's

Here are 0 recommendations for you didi
should basically stick to a high protein diet (including red meat), low carbs, and

enriched with fruits and vegetables. They should limit the intake of wheat germ,

whole wheat products, corn, and avoid dairy products and most nuts.

Type O types are commonly affected with hypothyroidism, high stomach acid

(leading to ulcers), and thinner blood with greater resistance to blood clotting.

I can see it now, "The M&M Diet." I bet it would be a best seller.

I have to say, living in Connecticut - where Dr. D lives I have had the opportunity to follow his teachings - he is SOOOO SMART!!!!! I mean - SOOO SMart!!! I am not sure why people scoff at him. When he speaks your jaw drops - he is full of knowledge backed by his scientific findings. Now I am just a lay person so maybe his experiements or whatever he is doing to find these answers are incorrect but he is very convinving! A very close friend of mine went to him and her reuslts are amazing! Weight loss in the stomach, and several other things like eczema clearing up, off medications etc. She had great luck with him He individualizes the food list according to the tests he performs on the person - blood, saliva, urine etc.. so even though he suggest pineapple for O+ he may not suggest that for every O+ until he tests your body fluids. Unfortuantley he has decided this year not to see patients any longer which is a shame. His practice is still thriving with his trained staff but he is doing more research these days.

This makes more sense if he advocates testing and tailoring of plans. Thanks for sharing.
