It sounds similar to the Noni Juice people were all over a few years ago. I've heard rave reviews of Noni juice, never heard of this one though. Sorry for responding with no real info whatsoever, I'm at work and bored.

Yes, both my husband and I tried it. It may have helped our aches and pains a little (or it could have been just wishful thinking). Some people I believe claim good things from it. My problem is (like most multi-level marketing things) it was just WAY to expensive so we stopped taking it.

I've never seen the juice, but fresh mangosteens are the best fruit in the universe. They are just becoming available in the US, so no more sneaking them back from Toronto, woohoo!

Xango is just about the best juice i've ever had in my life. I bought it from my doctor who was raving about the health benefits of it. I no longer buy the Xango anymore because it's made with other juices like apple and pear. For thirty dollars a bottle or more, I don't want apple and pear juice. *L*

I buy mangosteen juice from the healthfood store now. It's still just as expensive but it's the whole mangosteen fruit and nothing else. The pericap part of the fruit, the purple part, is where all the antioxidants are. In fact it contains super antioxidants called Xanthones.

I'm taking it for many reasons, one of them being anti aging. For example, when the sunlight hits your skin, it knocks an electron out of it's orbit. Now the atom is unstable and the electron is trying to find an atom that is missing an electron so on it's path, it's doing damage to your skin cells. The xanthones contain an extra electron so it neutralizes the free radicals (that damaging electron) so that all that damage doesnt occur.

That's one of the main reasons we are told to eat our fruits and veggies. All the antioxidants they contain! The reason the goji berry and mangosteen are so popular right now is because they contain the highest antioxidants ever found.

But of course the price is insane for a bottle of this juice. Other great antioxidants that are cheaper would be blueberries, black berries, and pomegranate juice. You can find these juices at walmart all day long. Just watch the sugar. The mangosteen juice i buy now is unsweetened, i just mix it with blended up frozen blueberries and splenda. It's very good!

Mangosteen

Hi,
was just searching on google and i saw your question about the mangosteen.
hope you have gotten the info your required if not here is a brief answer to what your asking, well the mangosteen is a fruit native to south east asia, that has been used for many purposes in south east asia for many purposes. the fruit has a white inner pulp and a very bitter rind, the pulp tastes great, but the rind tastes awful. Various medical professionals and scientists have carried out independent studies and research on the rind cos of the supposed health benefits that the natives and residents of south east asia proposed that the rind is supposed to provide. these conclusion and their work can be easily accessed from the US National Library of Medicine online: PubMed. The uniqueness of the mangosteen is the results of their studies which can be accessed here: pubmed.
If your interested in doing your own study, i would suggest you check medical journals online and research on the health benefits of Mangosteen, Xanthones, and take what you find to your physician or any qaualified medical professional and let them give you an opinion based on the results of the research and studies that have been carried out.
I suggest you talk to your family physician or nutritionist to inquiring from him what are the health benefits of xanthones based on the research that has been carried out on xanthones. most of the health benefits proposed have been attributed to some constituents of the fruit especially (Xanthones)
Hope this clarifies your inquiry about the fruit.
Also noticed that you inquired about Xango, well Xango is a private company that was launched by 6 friends, who noticed that the mangosteen fruit had not been brought to market and did their research on the health benefits of the fruit. decided to create a whole fruit drink from the fruit including the pulp and the rind, using the expertise of wild flavors partnering with the in an exclusive partnership to bring it to market, protecting the process of manufacture and production with a patent
Why mlm? well the 2 brothers(Joe and Gordon Morton) who decided to form the company with 4 of their friends were raised in the networking industry and had seen its benefits when done right: (pay plan, systems and benefits, etc) and its ability to prevent knock offs, cut out middlemen, maintain quality, its requirement of little capital to start up for people interested in the business aspect of it, and its effectiveness in maintaining your market niche when you are the first to your category.
hope this clarifies your inquiry about xango,
