I Lost Half An Inch From My Waist
I think.....
And that's the trouble with relying on measuring tape to chart progress. I'm never certain on how tightly I pulled the tape around myself the last time I measured. So I THINK I lost half an inch. ![]() Anyone else get this problem? Solution? |

No,
never had a problem with my measuring tape being too tight or too loose. You could also write down next to your measurements if you held the tape measure tight or loose.Either way, congrats! |

Well, this is what I do. I pull it as tight as I can, period, every time. So, no matter what the ACTUAL measurement is, it's the RELATIVE measurement I go after - i.e. what is the tightest/smallest measurement I can get this month compared to the tightest/smallest measurement I was able to get last month.
So, it's not so important whether my hips are really 38 or 39 (after all, how often does someone ask you for your measurements, and then check to see if you're telling the truth?), it just matters whether they are larger or smaller than they were this time last month..... Congratulations!!! (hopefully
) I actually do three measurements each time and take the average of the three. That's what Dr. Eades suggested to do in his book when I started Protein Power. |

I have the same problem with measuring - I'm all fingers with it - I guess which is why I don't do it :/ I should.
