help with navigating site

I guess I am too old!!! Is there a place for instructions to help navigate the different threads and to see if I get an answer to a question etc. Thanks you all have been so helpful so far

the search button at the top right hand of the page lets u search your posts ( what u type) and your threads ( all posts u have posted in a certain subject) that has helped me find somthing i posted and wanted to see if any one answered...

Hey Susan,

Welcome to LCF!

Here's another easy way to keep track of threads...

On the left, toward the top of the screen, click on "User Control Panel."

On the next screen, a little bit down in the right, click on "Edit Options."

If you skip down a little bit, there's an option (Messaging & Notification) to receive instant email notification when someone replies to a thread you started, and also to posts you made in a thread someone else started. Beware, though, if the thread gets long, you could wind up with a ton of emails!

You can also edit lots of other options there, like how you want things displayed, even what time format you want to use, etc.
