Had chinese food in a brown sauce, how do I count this?

I know this was a bad food choice being on induction, but I convinced myself it was just meat and veggies. I avoided eating too much of the sauce, but since it was already on the beef and green pepper, I did eat a good amount of it.

Now how do I count it? It was about 3/4 cup of big pieces of steak and green pepper in a somewhat sweet and hot sauce. Any tips on how I should eat for the rest of the day? Zero carb, low calorie or what?

I don't think you can count it, because you really don't know what you ate. Don't try to counteract it- depriving yourself may just set you off into a binge. Just get right back on plan and have a nice satisfying dinner- high in fat, low in carb

So 25g carbs? Been very low the rest of the day, so still well in OWL limits at least.

Seriously though, it wasn't that sweet, or that much of it, might go with 2 teaspoons of sugar though for 8 carbs, to be on the safe side.

Brown sauce isn't that bad. According to the Daily Plate, a typical chinese brown sauce has 41g carbs per 1.5 cups, which would be about 2g carb per tablespoon of sauce. Just make a good guess and don't fret about it.

i think u have to use an abacus....

i never eat chinese food UNLESS, I have had a little talk with the servers, proprietors, cooks etc etc etc. I need to make absolutely sure, what I eat will not sabotage my efforts. there are 2 places I go to for take-out. I have them well trained. Whatever is it is that u ate, I hope it was delicious. Next time: NO GUESSWORK.(that goes for anything that has no labels). Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI
