Fawn, I still haven't used the deep fryer my best friend got me for my birthday last month, in spite of ordering some grass-fed beef tallow for it. I'm thinking deep fried green beans. Maybe once it gets colder.
oh baby wait til you get that thing fired up! You'll use it all winter!!!
Try spinach too.

I recall you mentioning deep fried spinach before. You just put raw spinach in the deep fryer? I can't imagine it takes very long. What does it look like after? Is it crispy/crunchy?

yep, crispy is the perfect description. Just sprinkle a bit of sea salt over it while hot. They serve this at a restaurant in my area called Johnny Garlic's. That's how I found fried spinach. Green beans would be good too and once you've moved up the carb ladder Mark, sweet potatoes are awesome in coconut oil.

fawn, I climb the carb ladder every month, starting with a week of induction, then the rest of the month climbing from 40 to 80g/day. I love deep-fried sweet potatoes. I'll have to try those with the CO.

I bought a big container of baby spinach at Sam's Club today. I'm gonna have to give it a try!
