Stevia & Costco Chicken... NOT together haha

Hey, I have a couple of food-thoughts today... one... I tried NuNaturals liquid stevia. It is, indeed, much better tasting than the powder I bought years ago. However, this morning I made the cream-cheese & egg recipe pancakes with cinnamon and a few drops of stevia this morning and ... I thought Stevia was a sweetener you can cook with??? I make that same recipe but with splenda and it is delish! What gives?

Also, I bought a Costco chicken to pick at for dinner the other day, and have been eating it for lunches. It tastes a whole lot more salty and chemical-y than what I remembered. Anyone else notice this?

Never even tried Stevia.

But I'm with you on the chicken. I just bought one at Price Chopper and holy moly - it was salty and had lots of stuff injected in it. Wasn't crazy about it, but used to eat them all the time. Guess our tastes change.

Ya, I think our tastes def. change for the better
But, I have been eating Costco chicken on and off for a while and this is the first time it tasted like THAT.

I am surprised I didn't get more responses about the stevia. I know a lot of people here use it!

Hmm-I've used Stevia for cooking, but I may have also used erythritol at the same time.

I find when I cook with stevia, it is never as sweet as it is before it is cooked... for some reason.

It works better if you mix it with Xylitol or Erithritol.. it doesn't lose it's sweet.

Most of the sugar alcohols as well as stevia generally do better when combining.

I only enjoy stevia in my yogurt, coffee, tea
