Beer
Hey all,
I think I saw it here, but was trying to find it and could not. Its a low calorie beer made by Miller beer. Ive seen a comercial for it, but didnt see it again and didnt really see what kind it was. Do you know? It had like 60 some calories to it. Have you tried it? sweep |

I dunno... I've had Michelob Ultra, but sadly, me and beer had to break up as I CANNOT lose weight while drinking it, even the low carb stuff. It was a difficult breakup, I LOVE beer.

I think it's called Miller 64. I've heard that's how many cals are in it, but I have no idea about the carb count.
Haven't tried it....trying to stay away from beer right now |

please, please, please don't demean yourself by drinking cheap crappy beer. That's the hardest thing about this WOE. save up your carbs for a cheat night and have beer that's worth it then, if you're going to do it.
life's too short to drink crappy beer. ![]() |

Beck's Light also has 64 calories. Nasty stuff! Yes, it will get you tipsy if you drink enough of it.
I'll stick with my Amstel Light or Michelob Ultra.![]() |

To me, Michelob Ultra tastes like flavored water (even worse than Coors Light)...I won't drink it...I prefer Bud Select which has 3.2g carbs/bottle or Michelob Ultra Amber which has 3.7g carbs/bottle.
I prefer the Michelob Ultra Amber, but they don't sell it in kegs (which I use at home), so I always get the Bud Select at home...and the Michelob Ultra Amber for special occasions away from home. I used to brew my own beer, while it was the best beer ever brewed, it was more work than it was worth and I couldn't figure out the carb count (although I'm sure it was much higher than these two)...Now I'm happy with Bud Select and Michelob Ultra Amber. Just my $.02 worth...Good luck!

Yes.. the Michelob Ultra IS just like flavored water... ech. I'm kind of a beer snob, and like my microbrews, so pretty much... I just don't drink beer. Not to mention, I'm not even anywhere near the alcohol rung of Atkins (not that heavy beer is even on that). So yeah... no beer for me.

mmmmm....beeeeerr.......(insert Homer Simpson voice
)As much as I like wine, beer is my thing and it's been especially hard with football starting! I hate and absolutely cannot drink Miller Lite, Mich Ultra, etc. I've made peace with Corona Light - don't laugh - at 5 carbs per bottle and Amstel Light for about the same. I love good, local brew pub beer (Bell's, etc.) but have to leave it be. |

We also prefer Corona Light and Amstel Light. And there IS some Bud Light in the fridge...shhhhhhhh!!!
All in bottles, though - I can't stand beer in cans. |

I stopped drinking beer in cans about 10 years ago because it was TERRIBLE compared to bottles...a couple of weeks ago when we were at our lake house, I bought a case of Bud Select in cans because it was so much cheaper...now I don't want to go to our lake house...because I'll have to drink it...

When I drank beer, I drank Busch Light. Yeah...in cans, and most would say it tastes terrible, but I thought it had more flavor than most light beers (such as Mich Ultra). I believe it was around 3 carbs/beer.

I usually just have Miller Light (about 3.5 carbs) but it definitely has to be bottle, I dont' like cans or draft for Miller Light. Amstel Light has a better flavor but also more carbs (5). When I want to splurge it's either a local brewpub offering or a Heineken, but I try not to drink too much Heineken (although it was my favorite for years) because it has 12 carbs a pop!

It's Milwaukee's Best Light. 10 bucks a case depending where you live. Not Old Milwaukee, Milwaukee Best. Make sure you get the light, the heavy and ice variety is to gag for.

although alcohol is not part of my plan....
I have been to Bavaria. I allow myself 1 beer a year. But it has to be REALLY GOOD!!! I cannot believe a beer so low in calories can have the same impact on me as a good local Bavarian beer. That, and no more than 2 or 4oz servings of dry wine is my total annual alcohol consumption. But , if it works for u, the, by all means, go for it. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Me too Andi. I couldn't stand that Mich Ultra. I ended up using it in some recipes instead of trying to drink it!
