way to go with throwing out the pop tarts Heather! those are my downfall, esp that flavor, even if they are a fake food.

Do it - THROW THEM OUT - here's a perspective - pop tarts, say they're worth $2.

Consider the scenario - you go into a stress eating binge and eat them all, and eating 6 pop tarts is not that difficult, trust me, I've done it.

You're sitting there - you don't feel good, in fact, you're angry with yourself, feel bloated and just pretty darn pissed off that you ate those pop tarts. Look in your wallet (do you have $2 in there??) - reflect.... at that moment, when you're feeling sick, disappointed with yourself - would you give $2 to go back an hour in your life and redo your actions and not eat those pop tarts? If the answer is yes, I think you can justify to yourself that you can throw them out now.

ETA - sorry, I missed the thread that you threw them out - good job. $2 in the trash for one less possible sabotage in the house.

You said it best in another thread I read:

You can have 2.5 Snickers bars and still have eaten fewer carbs than if you eat those poptarts. That's just crazy.

Poptarts are not real food. They're poison. Don't eat 'em. (And don't eat the Snicker's bars just to spite me, either. )
