It's Friday, who's working out today

Good morning everyone!
So who's working out today?

I'm taking another day off.

Have a good workout and burn those pounds off.

We're at a hotel for the next few days and I'll be using the pool as well as doing my kettlebell workout in the room. I checked out the fitness room here and the equipment that I need to use doesn't work so I'm glad I brought the kettlebell! I'll get a better workout with it!

Just back from a 4 mile run.

The last half in the rain! Since it was 70 degrees and not the mid 40's like earlier in the week the relief was welcome!

Great job everybody!

About four miles around the track this morning. One day a week I normally have a caffeine-fueled workout and today was the day! Great workout!

Heading to the gym after work for a 3-4 mile run...then off to my 2nd job of bartending (on my feet from 7pm-4am) so that counts as some cardio too!

I did my 2.5 mile walk today - I really wanted to quit after the first circle (I live on a circle that is just over 1.2 miles, and walk two laps) but made myself walk the 2nd! I just let myself slow down a little bit, since I am still getting used to all this exercise and have been pretty sore.

Housecleaning and lugging 5 gallon buckets of water. Good workout.

Thanks to the weights, it isn't difficult at all. It would kill DH right now.

O M G, why did I think that September would be cooler than August here in Tampa?

I just got done walking 1+ miles with DH. I sweat like a pig. I think its gonna take time for me to readjust to the HEAT!

I wanted to try and run SO BAD, but DH threatened great bodily harm ... dang him.

I did Couch25K Week 4, Day 3, but was not feeling so great today, and didn't do the last 5 min run. Still! I can run 100% more than I could in April.

Pretty intense lower body workout this morning. (Going up and down stairs is now semi-painful, but it's for a good cause!) It would be really nice if one day my thighs didn't rub together and I could wear a skirt without worrying about chafing!

Tomorrow will technically be a day off, but I'll go for a long powerwalk and have some active recovery.

Betty -- you go girl!! A mile already! Just be careful not to overdo it!

Vikki, it was but I just kept saying "KEEP GOING" ...

This is probably as frustrating for me as your knee is for you .. don'tcha just wanna say "look, I got better things to do than milk this injury?" That's how I feel.

A couple of times tonight I started to get into "running form" .. and DH was like "STOP!" I tell ya, it was all I could do ... I WANT TO RUN SOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!

168 days to marathon day .. I gotta get back into it !!!

TALK ABOUT FRUSTRATED !

Girl, I am soooooooooooooo proud of you taking a couple of days off. If anyone understands how tough it is to do that, it is me. But trust me, you will be glad you did it in the long run. Does the knee feel better? Are you taking glucosamine? AND DID YOU GET THE NEW SHOES YET?

Betty
