I have to share..the only 5K I ever did a few years ago was all ages. It was hot, so I had on a skort. As a passed this older man he yelled out something about how embarrassing it was to be passed up by a girl...in a skirt! This was when seeing someone running in a 'skirt' was pretty novel. I think I got it from Title 9? Or some company like that. Title..something, a women's-only sports catalog.

I just laughed and went on to pass a few more guys.

I have 4 pairs that I rotate between.
