what is the difference between

"the main lobby"
"the playground"
and the lounge"

the playground is for off topic discussion - chat about different things - life in general

not sure on the lounge - I don't think I've been there

I normally hang out in the main lobby as my focus is on low carb - I once strayed to the playground and found my mind wandering off out the low carb realm LOL

Toni is correct. The lounge used to be in the Century Club sort of as their "Playground" for off topic stuff. The playground is dangerous but fun.

My experience with the Playground was not a good one - I tried to get involved but basically was snubbed by the reigning "clique" at that time. This was a couple years ago so can't say how it is NOW. My posts were either totally ignored or I was treated like an outsider. So I don't go there any more.

The main lobby is full of folks with the same basic objective - adhere to a low-carb lifestyle and share with others your experiences, as well as ask questions and get some helpful answers.

I've only visited the Lounge a couple times but it seemed like an OK place.

Just my take on the three different spots!

Also you must have "x" number of posts before you're allowed to use the Playground - you can check the terms of use of the board for sure, but I think it was 25 or maybe 50 posts on other areas of the board before you could use the Playground.
