$1.89 for the single serving container
$4.29 for the large container

at Trader Joes....

I have 4 large containers in my refrigerator now. I buy one or two every time I go shopping. I wish it wasnt so expensive but it is the only yogurt that I like the taste of and that doesnt cause cravings or stall me. I have a full cup with berries every other day.

I've got 2 large (unopened) containers of Stonyfields in the fridge. lol

That's ok, they won't go to waste. Normally, I would share them with my dogs (yogurt is great for dogs) but now, the Stonyfields is all THEIRS!!!! Maybe I'll just eat the cream off the top first.

I put a note on the Fage yogurts that are in the Fridge. DO NOT TOUCH!!!! They boys (I have 4 of them and 2 DIL) eat me out of house and home. Normally, I don't mind...But no body better touch my FAGE!!!!

My Dogs can have the Stonyfields and about the only one I would even THINK about sharing the Fage with...Would be my Grand daughter!

Hey, a Mom's gotta do....What a Mom's gotta Do!!!

I'm with ya on this one Tooter-my 15 yr can eat a blue streak through my fridge and pantry and luvs Fage. I only share with my Jack Russell though-she eats less. She really likes plain yogurt.

I eat the fage total unless they are out then I eat the fage 0%. I like adding flaxseed and splenda or divinci syrup and I sometime add stawberries. I am a fage aholic!!!

$1.89 at Harris Teeter and Super Target also carries it.

I love the 2% - has tons of protein in it too. The Total is too filling for me and the non-fat - nope won't eat it.

Try it (if you like Walden's Farm) with the WF s/f caramel dip and some cinnamon - it's fabulous.

I can't remember the price I pay, but I once worked out the cost of making yogurt and straining it, and it worked out about the same as buying Fage.

The 0% tastes good, and there are no added wierd ingredients, its just skim milk rather than whole. The 2% and regular will taste creamier though. I get the 0% sometimes. I dont think its a sin to use a product that has no fat if its natural.... I get fat from plenty of other sources.

The 10% (full fat) version is amazing. It's really creamy but because it's yoghurt, rather than cream itself, it's a lot more palatable as a dessert. I think it's one of the only yoghurts that is made from cream as well as milk so the carb counts are really low. I have it more or less everyday and if you're on OWL chopping in a few berries and a handful of seeds or nuts gives you a really satisfying dish. It also allows me to eat something close to what I used to eat before LC and I like that. Plus, you can sweeten it or add flavours for variety such as cocoa powder/ almond essence/ cinammon. Yummy!

Strawberry, it's not that I think it's a "Sin", it's that I am worried it wouldn't keep me satisfied. Did that make sense? Which I would worry, would lead me to feeling hungry and eat more later.

After reading "Eat Fat Lose Fat" by Mary Enig & Sally Fallon I learned something. Skim milk is often fortified by powdered milk which has damaged cholesterol because of the way it is processed. This info is also on the Weston Price website. When I think of all the lowfat diets I was on and ingesting skim milk it really angers and amazes me. Fage is now made in the US and if they are using skim milk it may not be the healthiest choice for me. I am going to stick with the fullfat or lower fat not the non fat.

I just checked the prices. It's £1.69 (about $3) for the large, 500g, tub of full fat.

I finally picked up FAGE at trader joes today and MMMMM. I only had 2 spoonfuls but it tasted wonderful. Thick, creamy, delicious! And low carbs when compared to other yogurts.

SO HAPPY!

I split the containers of plain Fage into 2 smaller containers, top w/blueberries and a little Splenda.

It is so good. For those of you who don't know what it is like, the texture is thick, kind of like totally smooth ricotta, or a really thick sour cream. To me, it is like ice cream, but not frozen.

And, it is around $1.70 here, and when I divide that in 2, I can justify the cost. I just pair it with a little bacon for BF, or have it as a dessert for lunch.

That's a very good way to describe it. Thick Sour Cream or "Soft Serve" Ice cream that isn't as Cold.

Another addict here! I buy the large containers of full fat Fage at Trader Joes. I can get 3-4 servings out of each one. I usually add a few chopped walnuts, and some English Toffee stevia. This is my absolute favorite thing to eat! I'll have a small amount for dessert, or a larger amount for a meal.

Oh, and I was never a yogurt eater before!
