Does all whip cream have dextrose in it?

Imagine my surpise when I took a look at the heavy whipping cream container this afternoon only to discover that it has dextrose in it!!! Under the ingredients it said cream, stabilizer (dextrose, _________) and some other product ...

Does all heavy whipping cream have dextrose in it? What's worse -- it says 1 gram of sugar -- which, by all accounts, isn't too bad (most foods say that from naturally occuring stuff) HOWEVEr -- I have never seen 1 gram of sugar before on the cream ... IS this ALLL heavy whip cream OR has my company gone crazy!?!?!?!

I'm feeling frustrated right now -- I have been going to the gym every day for 7 days and not losing a thing ... i've bene having a little whey powder mixed with a little whip cream as a desert treat (since before the gym) ... suddenly I've stopped losing -- is it this dextrose in the cream (PS: I have a bit of a candida issue -- a little cream is allowed -- but not full out).

I just discovered last week that my heavy cream contained heavy cream, mono and diglycerides, polysorbate 80 and carrageenan. I've checked every single brand of heavy cream in my stores and they all contain the same stuff. Grrrrrrr.

Don't know if this is stalling me or not but it sure makes me nuts.

I'm going to try to find some organic stuff.

Albertsons house brand heavy cream contains nothing but cream. Even Organic Valley has that stuff in it!

Horizions Organic only has cream. It took reading every carton in Randall's to find one.

The Manufacturing Cream you can buy at Smart & Final is just cream, and I THINK the Trader Joe's brand is also although I don't have one here to check right now!

I just checked my carton of Dean's heavy whipping cream and the only ingredient listed was cream.

I never looked at the ingredient list before, as I always thought heavy cream was, well, just cream.

Goes to show you definitely need to read ALL labels. Thanks for the reminder!
