I found that some people obviously noticed but felt it was rude to say! I was away for about 6 weeks and when I got back the people I work with started saying that I looked "really healthy" and "radiant", always preceded by a look up and down and a long uncomfortable pause.

As in "you look (uncomfortable pause while they thought how to tactfully put it)... really healthy?" It got pretty funny after a while as it just happened over and over again.

So I bet you people have noticed, they maybe just feel rude for saying it outright!!

Ironically someone asked me if I had lost weight about a month ago when I was at my high number on the scale before I started LC and was feeling pretty crappy about myself. Go figure

Some people in my life don't say a darn thing! They only tell me when I gain weight. They have NEVER told me that I've lost weight even when I've lost the 80 pds way back!!!

BUT, as soon as the pounds start coming on, they surely say something!!

I can't stand jealous people because that's exactly what it is...

They start putting all kinds of snacks in front of me trying too sabotage my program.. That's when I know they have noticed I did lose and won't say it, so they throw the food in front of me too see if I'm weak!!

"no thank you, those kinds of foods arn't in my life anymore"

That keeps em hush!!

I know what you mean, Cathy. My mom is supposedly doing Weight Watchers, and while she is incredibly enthusiastic about my weight loss, she'll do stuff like say, "Here, would you like some Twizzlers? They're low in fat."

As if......

What a great feeling! Congrats! I always got embarrassed when attention was drawn to me like that but inside I would be doing jumping jacks! LOL

I just got an email from the guy we went to his party on Sunday and he said " Nate and I want to tell you that we think you look fantastic and to keep up the good work"
LOL.. I havent lost any weight! It was nice of them tho.

I thought nobody would ever mention it to me , but someone finally did this week. I noticed, but it seemed nobody else did.

I know we shouldn't try to impress others, but it is some validation when someone notices.
