And the saddest part? I could still tell myself with a straight face: "I don't know why I am gaining so quickly, I really don't eat THAT much!"

I used to stop at Burger King on the way home after work and buy a "snack" (whopper combo) to "tide" me over while I cooked dinner.. and then I would cook a huge dinner WITH desserts (wanna be pastry chef for years).. always cooking, ever expanding my cookbooks, and my rear.

I'm too ashamed to list all the ways I used to sneak food. But it all started in high school. I would literally starve myself all day (didn't want anyone to see me eat) and I would binge at night. On anything and everything. Mostly meaty/cheesy/salty - I was never a sweet snacker. But I did love crap carbs like Cheetos and Croutons and Pizza. I could eat a whole bag or whole box or whole pizza in one sitting. I stayed ultra thin and everyone wondered what I ate: AIR?? Later I did it with booze and drugs and cigs. And a few years ago I learned to love sweet snacks too. Developed a terrible sweet tooth post-chemo!

ETA: OH and I've scarfed stuff in the bathroom too! Too many times to count. Oh Lordy.

I remember during my first pregnancy, (started it at 245 lbs.), I got up in the middle of the night, got out the bag of donuts I hid under the sink, and stuffed my face with them.
