Sometimes I have to remind myself that I have made some progress on this journey. I have a long way to go....but...maybe it's time for me to start telling myself...."you've come a long way baby". LOL.

Thank You!. You remind me of one of the things that has made me smile the most about those pics.

I have a 3 year old granddaughter, Amberlee. She found that Thanksgiving Day Race picture in my closet (it was in the closet for a reason). Being 3, she doesn't remember me like that...LOL. She said "Mamaw Dee....is that you? ". I said yes, sweetie, it's me. She said, "Is that when you were old??". I died laughing....Yes, sweetie, it's when I was old.

That was a 10K Thanksgiving Day Race. The first one that I ever did. About 11,000 people participated. I thought...I can do this. I'm active, I play volleyball, etc. So I signed up. I came in DEAD last. DEAD last. I finished, but when I got to the finish line...they were already tearing it down. Even though I did finish and felt a little accomplished, it was embarrassing have the police waiting for me at each street to tear down the roadblocks, but they were giving me the thumbs up for doing it.

That woman was old, struggling....and sooooooo UNHAPPY!!!!

Last year I did it again, and came in somewhere around 8,000th place out of 13,000. I'm making progress. This year...I'm gonna be in the top half!!!.

I had lost about 125...but unfortunately after my KK mishap, I'm just shy of 100 now. I'm back on the bandwagon again and I will get that regain off and move onto the "virgin" pounds.

What a difference. You look like the "now" you could fit in the first picture just inside of the scarf area. Keep up with whatever you are doing, it certainly is working!
